“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek was slammed by social media users Tuesday after he asked a contestant if her job as an Army Master Sergeant was hard because she was a woman.
Trebek made the comment while asking the show’s three contestants basic questions about their lives to introduce the audience to the participants. Lisa Beth Davis, a retired Army Master Sergeant, took Trebek’s question in stride.
Trebek asked the woman: “That must be really tough for a woman because a master sergeant is giving orders most of the time. How was it for you?”

We always watch Jeopardy. A few days ago, Alex said something to the effect that he wears something like Depends. If anyone saw this episode from last week, could they clarify?
What is worse is the number of articles that the “mainstream media” dedicate to Twitter responses. You have to wonder have many of these accounts are friends or phony accounts that are dedicated to creating the story in the first place.

Trebek tends toward being snooty with most of Jeopardy’s contestants. I don’t think he’s sexist, racist, etc. He’s just snooty.

Groucho said he really liked smoking his cigars but that he would occasionally take them out of his mouth.
