Picks:
- Indianapolis at Baltimore: Baltimore is just a little better than mediocre. That's good enough to beat a bad Colts team. Ravens Win
- Minnesota at Green Bay: Vikings, trying hard to get back into #1 seed, have to win out. Packers are eliminated and Rodgers likely to sit. Only hope for the pack is Minny pulls starters. But I suspect not. Vikings win
- Atlanta at New Orleans: Game of the week! Atlanta needs this win badly. They are at home. They have lots of firepower. Saints have Drew Brees. This is going to be a good one. Saints are favored but I'm going to go out on a limb and say ... Falcons Win
- Buffalo at New England: If Buffalo plays good defense and runs the ball effectively they have a good chance to get a game winning touchdown overturned by the NFL, as it has done several times this year to Patriot opponents. Patriots win
- Cleveland at Chicago: Browns are 1-29 since passing on Carson Wentz. Their coach said if he went 1-15 this year he'd jump in the lake. He'll save himself from that indignity by going 0-16. Bears win
- Denver at Washington: Neither team has anything to play for, edge to the home team with the better record. Redskins win
- Detroit at Cincinnati: Bengals team and coach have quit on the year, it seems. Detroit desperately needs victory to keep any hope of playoffs alive. They'll get one. Lions win
- L.A. Chargers at N.Y. Jets: Chargers get no press, nobody talks about them. But quietly they are among the hottest teams in football, crawling back into playoff contention after a dismal 0-4 start. They Jets ... aren't. Chargers Win
- L.A. Rams at Tennessee: Rams are dismantling teams, the Eagles beat them by keeping up point for point, Tennessee can't do that. Rams win
- Miami at Kansas City: KC is playing for the division at home. Dolphins beat the Patriots, that's all you can say. KC is flawed but I'll take them at home against weak Phish team. Chefs win
- Jacksonville at San Francisco: Jimmy G is 3-0 as a starter and looks pretty good. Jacksonville D is legit though and will be a strong test. 49ers just don't have the weapons. Jaguars win
- Tampa Bay at Carolina: Tampa's expected big offense never showed up and their season is over. Carolina is fighting for playoffs, and at home. Panthers win
- N.Y. Giants at Arizona: Neither of these teams have anything to play for. Advantage home team just because they don't have to travel. Cardinals win
- Seattle at Dallas: Dallas is desperate but so is Seattle. Both teams are heavily flawed but Dallas gets Zeke back I think. They get a bounce. Cowboys win
- Pittsburgh at Houston: Pittsburgh was the third team this year to have the NFL come in and save the Patriots with a reversed TD in the end zone, they have to be mad. Houston won't hold up. Steelers win
- Oakland at Philadelphia: Eagles can lock up home field throughout the playoffs and Oakland can lock up a complimentary upgrade to first class for their flight home if they use miles now. Other than that, they have nothing to play for. In their first home game in a month the Eagles play better. Eagles Win
