It has not affected the price of wings in the grocery store.

What I want to know is when will the players get hit on THEIR pocketbooks?

But the Steelers and Patriots were so exciting! Why! Oh why, did it have to end that way? It was a touchdown! It really was!
I'm going to boycot all future NFL football games that do not involve the Steelers, the Cowboys, the Patriots, or the Broncos! Maybe I'll watch the Saints, maybe. Actually, I'll watch the fourth quarter on a lot of those other games. But don't get sanctimonious on me. I really do support the boycott.

Whining, eh? No bias there.
Just because those idiots insulted their country to protest something that isn’t happening and cost the wing producers actual money doesn’t mean that they have reason to object. Pack of racists.

I honestly support what they are doing. Showing people who they really are.
Slow clap and ear to ear grin. ESAFD dirtbags.

Did that same drop off happen last year or the year before?

In the late 1990’s, bars regularly ran 25 cent wing nights, some even went as low as ten cents. Wings were throwaway food sold mainly for making stock in restaurants.
Now they rarely cost less than two bucks a pound in the grocery stores, and usually cost at least as much as boneless breast meat. I don’t fault them for take NG advantage of a market demand, but my heart does not weep for the chicken producers, they had a good run and hopefully made good money.

Good. Nothing worse than chickens waddling around with no wings. And those dang Asians that eat chicken feet.

Rise in popularity of chicken wings in the US has brought down the cost of chicken breasts substantially.
When you want chicken wings to sell, there’s other tasty parts of the bird as well that you gotta sell somehow. Best way: lower prices.

If you avoid advertisers whenever possible, don't attend games, and don't buy NFL merchandise at all, the bottom line is destroyed for the NFL. FWIW, if I do watch a game, it's with a TV-antenna with a TV not even hooked up to any technology.
In my mind, the issue is that the kneelers epitomize what's wrong with so many NFL players. It's not about them, it's about the consumers (fans). For the game, they have an obligation to honor what the National Anthem means to fans. The owners and coaches are too unprincipled to explain that to them.

started last year and increased along with the kneeing Year after year, NASCAR has always ended first, leaving only football. Since the dropoff appears to have only occurred for the past two years, I'd suspect that NASCAR ending has little to do with it. While correlation isn't necessarily causation, it certainly provides a clue as to what's going on.

Wings used to be cheap. You could get a giant package of wings for $3 or so. Now the same size package costs $12. That’s the reason I stopped buying them. Too bad because I love making teriyaki garlic wings.

And whoever came up with “boneless wings” should be sued for false advertising.
Every time a waitress asks if I want “boneless wings” I politely inform her that there is no such thing.
