Good one... looks like the two shots are between 2 and 6 months apart. Here's a bit more detail. https://www.gsk.com/en-gb/media/press-releases/gsk-announces-first-approval-of-shingrix-in-canada/
Is it the Old Iall Ones? (Wolfrider fan)
I mean Tall. Pushing72slackrequested.
in 2012 I had shingles around my right eye & forehead. It was nasty. A numbness remains, very sensitve to touch.
I got the chicken pox BIG TIME the first time. Each time thereafter it was much milder. Who knows why some of us keep getting it.
My hairdresser’s husband had shingles that spread to his brain and killed him. Poor guy was only 58.
I’ve never heard of a fatality from shingles to the brain but I have heard of blindness from shingles spreading into the eye itself. Having had it on my left forehead spreading down into my eyebrow and up as well as out into my hairline, I can say it’s excruciatingly painful, like it was drilling down into my brain. I can’t imagine having it in the brain itself. No idea how a rash can hurt so much.
No need for a Big Pharma ‘solution’ for shingles. Natural remedies work...
L-lysine is an amino acid thats great for treating shingles, cold sores, and herpes outbreaks because it inhibits the growth of the Herpes zoster virus. The suggested dose is 1,0001,500 mg three times per day. Take at the very first sign of symptoms. For prevention, 1,000 mg of L-lysine a day recommended.
IV vitamin C is also recommended for the natural treatment of shingles. Very high doses of this vitaminwhich can only be administered intravenouslyexhibit powerful antiviral properties, making it ideal for attacking the Herpes zoster virus and treating shingles naturally.
Olive leaf extract, with oleuropein boosts immune function and is very helpful in treating shingles naturally. High does are recommended.
Each if these natural remedies have successfully treated shingles. Of course they are also successful in treating other herpes viruses.
In 400 sentences or less, please state your overall position on vaccines.
My doctor recommended I wait for the newer vaccine. Since it is supposed to be so much more effective, I agreed with him.
I've had one vaccination since then, and, regardless of cost, won't hesitate to have another. Where do I send the money?
Chickenpox revisited totally sucks, but it’s not impossible.
>> shingles that spread to his brain
Really? That takes a lot of nerve.
They were high school sweethearts; married over 30 years with three adult children. When I first met her she was planning their daughter's wedding and was sad that he couldn't be there. Super lady. We're both Conservative Republicans in Massachusetts. We have some interesting conversations.
