in 2012 I had shingles around my right eye & forehead. It was nasty. A numbness remains, very sensitve to touch.

Me too, and also a tenant—identical case and location. (Except mine was only REALLY-REALLY painful for about 60 seconds, and the numbness carried-on for months).

I've had one vaccination since then, and, regardless of cost, won't hesitate to have another. Where do I send the money?
