FULL TITLE: The dog that looks like a BEAR: Russian animal shelter slams 'irresponsible breeders' who bred a chow chow with a mystery long-snouted breed
An animal shelter has slammed 'irresponsible breeders' after a stray dog with the face resembling that of a bear was discovered living on the streets of Russia.
The odd-looking dog was brought into an animal shelter in Chelyabinsk in south-central Russia's Cheliabinsk Oblast region and has baffled locals who say they have 'never seen anything like it before'.
The stray dog, nicknamed Medvebaka from the Russian words for bear and dog, appears to have the body of a canine with a bear-like snout and head.

Well, then...there you go.
((((It takes a special person))))
Epilepsy can happen in mutts, too.
Our best dog was a *show up*. He looked like an Akita/Alaskan Husky X. He had seizures, from tremors to full blown fits with disorientation afterward. Still a great dog.
Our present full-bred Akita is very healthy, looks like a brindle bear (although with larger ears)and is the laziest dog in existence. Love him, but his mission in life is to sleep in front of the fire in winter and on the cool hardwood floor in front of the breeziest window in the summer. After eating as much as he can hold, of course.
So do I. Scum.

LOL...........we have 4 like that. The Chug, a beagle and 2 pugs. None of them worth a dime except to fill our lives with dog hair and more love than you can imagine and that’s fine with us........;)
OMG,,,,,,,,,,I gotta go wash my eyes out with bleach after seeing this........crazy thang
TTIUWP.
(Usually said whenever there is a thread about a dog-like mutant.)
I hear you.
Actually,, I do not find the dog’s head looks that unusual from some breeds.
Im certain that he (the bear dog) loves other dog breeds; right up until hes eaten every bit of them!
It’s a dilemma for sure.
I’m not changing his cat litter

Me too.
Cute dog, but I live in North Carolina.
That’s great! Thanks for posting.
Any dog in a shelter is unhappy. Poor pumpkin. Hope some adopts or fosters him.
