FULL TITLE: The dog that looks like a BEAR: Russian animal shelter slams 'irresponsible breeders' who bred a chow chow with a mystery long-snouted breed

An animal shelter has slammed 'irresponsible breeders' after a stray dog with the face resembling that of a bear was discovered living on the streets of Russia.

The odd-looking dog was brought into an animal shelter in Chelyabinsk in south-central Russia's Cheliabinsk Oblast region and has baffled locals who say they have 'never seen anything like it before'.

The stray dog, nicknamed Medvebaka from the Russian words for bear and dog, appears to have the body of a canine with a bear-like snout and head.

I keep hoping that someone good with wild animals will become his advocate. I would think requests to take him in would be many, and many for selfish reasons, not for his sake.

I crossed a spider with a horse once.

I’d take that dog on a minute. Best dog I ever had was a full blooded wolf.

So sad...I read more of the article, and the poor creature is so stressed and traumatized that he probably will not ever find a new owner.

I hate stories like that.

Me too. I’m trying not to cry lest Hubby ask me what’s wrong. I hate some human (?) beings. I put animal abusers on the same level as the demonic ISIS!! This qualifies as animal abuse when you crossbreed. We have a precious Chug that we love dearly but she has problems....mainly epilepsy. No fun watching her in a seizure. It tears our hearts out because the only thing we can do is try to comfort her while she’s in this state.

When, oh when, will the Witch and Obola self-identify as, respectively, “male” and “female” eagles, copulate, climb to the top of the Washington Monument, flap their “wings”, screech, jump off, and try to fly safely to the ground??

"The dog has a distinctive blue tongue, which is typical of the chowchow breed, which originally comes from northern, China."

Obama has distinctive blue lips which are typical of the choom-choom gang, which originally comes from Kenya via Hawaii.

The dog’s cute. He has very close set eyes, and looks like Putin.

That’s what GOOD people were put here on this earth for!

You are doing a good thing when you are kind to animals. It even says so in the Bible of all places!

“A prudent man cares for his animals,
But even the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel”

Proverbs 12:10
