The median net worth for non-immigrant African-American households in the Greater Boston region is $8, according to “The Color of Wealth in Boston,” a 2015 report by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Duke University, and the New School.

What you said. Wealth comes from sacrificing or at least deciding that saving is more important than spending.
It could be suggested that, for those who see the rest of us as a Plan B to shore up their needs when they choose not to save for themselves, it is probably easier to spend everything.

Another city with democrat mayors/left wing mediots, city councils, democrat governors and congressits which has spent billions of $’s on LBJ’s War on Poverty.
Cities, where often the average black family is worse off financially now than before the War on Poverty!
That means half are worth LESS than $8. PITIFUL.
That is quite a return on their investment for living on the liberal plantation for all these decades. They should be really proud. Decades of Democrat rule and they got 8 bucks in the bank!
