I was just listening to conservative talk radio host Hugh Hewitt. He sounded pretty confident that Roy Moore is going to lose. He said that there are absolutely no rot Moore signs in Alabama and that the Democrats are super energized. He said this is going to cost president Trump a lot of political capital. Is there anyone in Alabama that can say how things actually are there?

Hewitt is in fantasy land...merely wishful thinking. His credo: If fishes were wishes, they’d all swim away.
Hewitt’s best moments were in the displays of his ignorance with David Allen White who taught Shakespeare at the US Naval Academy.

At Trump’s rally friday night, he asked the crowd how many were from Alabama. There was quite a roar...they support Moore. Seems to me that is better than a sign.
As far as signs go, in my Florida county that voted 74% for Trump, I saw quite a few Hitlery signs...some cars still bearing the relics today. This is in an area overrun with north liberal trash, fortunately, a minority so far.

I live in LIBERAL Montgomery, and nobody I know is voting for Jones. All polls show Moore with the lead and that lead growing.
If Moore were likely to lose, the eGOP wouldn’t have started supporting him again.
Maybe the thousands of Moore supporters don't want their cars keyed/houses messed with, by the handful of what's his name thugs, er, supporters.

Progressive, radical liberals are becoming more and more violent. Conservative Alabamians are not interested in spending time cleaning up the damage liberals inflict. So, we aren’t into bumper stickers, political discussions with the irrational left, alienating the liberal, union mailman, or yard signs.
Like most real conservatives I will be voting tomorrow for Judge Roy Moore. I predict a 57% win.
By the way, Senator Shelby is not a conservative. When he decided to run for the Senate, he dumped his democrat label because he knew he couldn’t win as such.

Please stop associating the extreme left-wing liberal HH with conservatives. HH rallied against Trump and for Hillary. Only in the last few days of the campaign did he ‘reverse’ his decision and support Trump.

We have to realize there are some conservatives out there in the media who are Never Trumpers because it galvanizes the lethargic working class to get out and vote against the elitist Republicans as well as the Democrats. The reason for this is that the private working class (not unionized working class) are swing voters who leaned toward Democrats in past elections. The one thing that energizes them to vote against is snooty Republicans. I don’t know if Hewitt is one of these Never Trump provocateurs. But David Goldmen, for example, called Trump a Hitler figure before the election and after the election is pro-Trump. To understand how some anti-Trumpers in the media actually might help Trump one would have to study Cognitive Dissonance Theory (which is way too intellectual). Hewitt may be one of these Double Agent Never Trumpers but it is impossible to know. But Hewitt wrote a book before the 2016 election titled “The Queen” about how Hillary might win the presidency. The book was based on Niccolo Machiavelli’s book on political manipulation “The Prince”. That gives us a clue that Hewitt plausibly is a Double Agent Never Trumper.
