The first that comes to mind for me: "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial". Sappy and overly sentimental.
(And while I'm at it, "Titanic")

Kellys Heroes I really hated. Kelly's Heroes scene in the minefield really nailed it, though.
For a while there, I thought that I was back in one.
"Been there, done that." (and still have all my arms & legs, praise God!)

Moulin Rouge - I swear, if that guy sang one more song I didn’t care who’s TV I was watching it on I would have destroyed it.

...that movie about the stuttering king... I thought The King's Speech was quite good...but then I've always been a bit of an Anglophile.I wonder if Liz has ever had anything to say about it.

Gravity. A totally implausible plot and a puzzling and unsatisfying ending. $12 and two hours wasted; there was no gravity, this movie sucked on ice.

I have noticed a lot of people didnt like Chariots of Fire but it may be my all time favorite movie. You must have that rare character flaw wherein you appreciated Integrity...

Yeah, how did a bitterly cold Belgian winter wind up with a desert scene of tank battles.

That tank movie called Fury. I didn’t watch it, just read the reviews which were awful.

Although I'm young, I dislike most of today's movies. It seems a modern movie cannot be made without graphic sex, drugs and unspeakable language (seems in most movies the 'F' word in almost every sentence uttered is a requirement), and horrific violence. (wouldn't hold the attention of today's audiences probably without these elements)The last movie I went out to see was 'Mrs. Doubtfire'.
I love classic movies such as are seen on Turner Classic Movies. I used to watch them with my grandmother, as a child when she babysat me
I've gone back to them and love them. (I've become quite an authority on stars and movies from the 'Golden Age'.
My all time favorites are Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, James Steward and Gary Grant. They don't make them like that any more. (Brad Pitt? Johnny Dep? YUK)

Braveheart and The Patriot is a close second.
I love Mel Gibson but despise those two movies.

The remake of The Nutty Professor with Robin Williams. Left after the silly putty bouncing scene.
