As I get older, I realize #1 - I talk to myself, jbecause there are times I need expert advice.
#2 - I consider "On Trend" to be the clothes that still fit.
#3 - I don't need anger management I need people to stop pissing me off. #4 - My people skills are just fine It's my tolerance (for idiots) that needs work.
#5 - The biggest lie I tell myself is " I don't need to write that down. I'll remember it. "
#6 - I have days when my life is just one tent short of a circus.
# 7 - These days, "on time" is when I get there.
#8 - Even duct tape can't fix stupid - but it does muffle the sound some.
#9 - Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could put ourselves in the dryer for ten minutes, then come out wrinkle-free and three sizes smaller?
#10 - Lately, I've noticed people my age are so much older than me.
#11 - " Getting lucky " means walking into a room and remembering why I am there.
#12 - When I was a child, I thought nap time was punishment. Now it feels like a mini vacation. #13 - Some days I have no idea what I'm doing out of bed.
#14 - I thought growing old would take longer.
#15 - Aging sure has slowed me down, but it hasn't shut me up. #16 - I still haven't learned to act my age.
The wisdom of age is nice but I miss the certainty of youth that told me I had it all figured out.
“Older” is here ... when’s that “... and wiser” thing gonna start kicking-in?
Amen to #14.
10, 14 and 16 dittos
When I wake in the mmorning and look in the mirror I look 90yrs old; the good news is as the day progresses to late morning at my best I look about 75, the bad news is I’m 67.
The other good news is I really don’t care if I misspell a word here or thier.
Thanks. These are great. I didn’t realize the “Golden Years” indicated the color of your underwear.
Trip up on number 5 myself. Guess I’ll have to learn to make lists on a smart phone like my sister-in-law does.
I reply 56 years.
Passenger..you were 4 years old when you first got your driving license?
No I am 75 and next year is our 50th wedding anniversary
Just making CO2 since 1942
Yes, definitely #10
I put a check mark beside most of those (darn-it).
I also like..”I work well with others as long as they leave me alone.”
Growing old is mandatory, growing up ain’t.
I very upset (wink, wink) because I can’t think of a thing to add to the list. At 65 year’s of age, all I can say is that I’m a College grad. of life & hard knocks! And still learning that I don’t know everything.
