And in San Francisco, the turn a murderer free????

“Being arrested on the toilet of the airport in Miami by (eight) law enforcement officers and then being led to my wife in handcuffs was one of the most humiliating experiences of my life up until then,” he wrote in the letter to Cox. “This humiliation was surpassed by the public shaming that followed. My mugshot became the face of Dieselgate worldwide.”

Yet nothing about Mazda and Mercedes that where caught doing the same thing. The price of Germany getting their Gold back or the just an issue within the car industry? A farce either way!!

Dieselgate was so phony...the kind of thing that drives watermelons (”environmentalists”...green on the outside, red on the inside) crazy.

VW’s crime was making a great product in spite of the best efforts of the swamp creatures to sabotage small displacement diesals.

I love my VW Diesel.

45mpg, over 50 on the highway.

Anyone against that, is an idiot.

My 328d gets 53MPG (highway) on summer diesel...a little less in winter.

I had a diesel Rabbit until it ran out. Then Government Motors refused to let me buy another. I got 190,000 miles out of it, about 45 MPG. We also had a diesel VW Bus for the whole family.

My car could probably do that too, if like the German crooks, I could disable the antipollution equipment except for inspections.

Now they should deny registration renewals until the computers are re-programed.

My friend thats a mechanic says they all cheat emissions by mixing air with the exhaust before emissions are measured.

“My car could probably do that too, if like the German crooks, I could disable the antipollution equipment except for inspections.”

Idiotic. I’m using HALF the fuel than my last gas car. That’s less pollution, not more.

“Now they should deny registration renewals until the computers are re-programed.”

Super Idiotic. Let’s have a giant Fedgov program supervising who gets to drive what...

I'll be damned, the eurogaiaworshippers gave him a harsher sentence than the migrant who rape women and children.

Just goes to show ya, in Germany you can rape women and children with little consequence, but if you screw with gaia the greens will F' you.

Seven years for falsifying compliance? How many global warming “scientists” should be in jail? How many FBI agents? How many justice department lawyers? How many congressmen?

We all face a day of reckoning. For these, even more so.

Just think: these VW-hacked diesels were so dirty and polluted the environment so much that no one ever noticed!

IIRC Colorado has experimented with testing as the cars roll by and photographing.

The VW TDIs did stand out because most of the problems were with old cars.

Not a large enough sample to be conclusive.
