NEED HELP ON PHOTO SHARING WEBSITES

Photobucket has gone nuts.

I'm looking for a new, photo-sharing website with the following attributes:

This is bar none the finest and simplest photo site.

Created by reddit group the_Donald.

Your images will not be censored by misguided liberals.

Once you upload your image then your html link is the address in the browser address bar.

This is what I get BUT, I just now realized that my screenshot program has an option to upload to imgur and that does give me an url with the .png extension. I run linux and firefox. I've never signed up for imgur. Don't know why mine's different. Curious abut the skull? That's neanderthal and looks similar to some modern day humans, ei. Kate Steinle's killer. The ridges in the eye brow location.

Me, too. I’ve used photobucket for about five, or six, years, and had over 1000 images posted there...then, all of a sudden, they make a bunch of changes, and poof...all is gone.

That’s why I’m looking around.

Sorry Frank, guess I wasn't clear on what you were asking.

Say you find a pic somewhere that you want to post in here.
You'll right click & save the image to your pc first.
Then login to your imgur account and drag the pic to that (imgur) page.
Then, once it's uploaded to imgur, when you click on the thumbnail of the pic on your imgur account page, THAT is when you'll see that box of copy options I showed in the pic above.

I think that, judging by that pic you posted above, that you weren't signed in to your imgur account.

I rarely encounter that particular layout, but seem to recall that that's what you'll see if you're just posting anonymously w/o being logged in.

Try actually logging in and see if you don't have an options box like the one I posted above.

NO WAIT .. LOL .. just re-read your post where you said you'd never signed up for imgur.

That's why what you're seeing is different .. create an account (free, no snooping) and you'll see different stuff.

Sorry RC .. I poked around in tinypic a couple times, but it's been years ago and I never did sign up for it .. don't remember why .. lotsa folks use it tho, and it's been around a long time.

But then PB was around a long time too, and now they've hosed innumerable folks .. the bastards.

PB strikes me as kinda the NFL of image hosting sites.

Actually, the majority of image posting I do on FR is for my “memes”. You might have seen some of them over the years on FR.

I download photos from the web, onto my computer, and then modify them in Photoshop. What I’m really needing is a site to upload my “memes”, and repost them on FR, and other sites.

I used to us Photobucket, but they went nuts and changed everything around. I lost probably a thousand images in that deal, (luckily, I have backups on my hard drive). So, I’m looking for something to replace PB, that I can rely on, and insofar as I do a lot of satire towards liberals, I need a site that is not in the censorship business.

Sorry goodness .. all my posts above were predicated on having an imgur acct and being signed into it .. I'm not familiar with uploading/downloading from it anonymously.

It's simple and will even resize the image for you if you need to ;^)
