More wishful thinking by a NeverTrumper. How many times is he allowed to be wrong before the Post decides he isn't worth a paycheck?

I stopped paying any attention to the gasbag NeverTrumper John Podorhetz long ago.

He’s the kind of pompous dolt who “struts while sitting down.”

The Post, like all MSM outset’s, doesn’t give a crap about right or wrong, it only wants clicks. The more inflammatory the article for them, the better.

It wouldn’t be illegal if Trump had a weekly meeting with the Russian ambassador to kick around how to best to defeat Hillary, but thanks for playing.

But on the other hand Hillary hiring a foreigner to perform work for her campaign was

Flynn got illegally unmasked. That is the only way they found out that he “lied.”

No kidding. So sick of this constant sh*t stirring and speculation based on flawed analysis of legal matters they can’t and don’t want to understand. The President-elect had every right to direct individuals on his transition team to make diplomatic contacts with foreign governments. That’s part of transitioning from the Imposter-In-Chief to a duly elected POTUS. Mueller has bupkis on Trump and everyone (including the Leftist Progressives) knows it. Mueller needs to be shut down no later than Dec. 31 and President Trump should hit the ground running doing the jobs we elected him to do on January 1. I think one good high-profile arrest and prosecution for sedition or treason would be helpful in giving the MSM and Trump-haters something else to focus on. There’s certainly several good candidates with ugly skeletons to go after out there - Hillary being my pick as traitor #1.

This thread is illuminating how many on this forum used to react in the Bush era when a paleo like Pat Buchanan took NeoCons to task

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/862322/posts

Well...it’s pretty easy now to look back ...and see who won that argument

Some of those folks so quick to scream bigot or racist at those who disagreed with them they themselves left over Schiavo or Giuliani or ultimately Trump

Bye

You are not missed and it’s a new era and my only regret is you forced out some decent folks before you ran off crying into the ether darkness to anti freep

A place where many of you can still be found

And we won this end of the political spectrum and you didn’t

Thank you Lord.

This is one “john” that should be flushed from rational journalism.

The swushing sound you hear is that of his late father’s puking at his son’s imbecilic writings.

Someone pointed out on Twitter that the plea agreement for Flynn gives him a pass on any wrong doing during the Obama years but not the Trump years.....somehow I do not think Trump has a thing to worry about.

The real crime here is the MSM not telling the American public this. This is for shock value when indictments begin rolling out because by now the media does know something is going down. They want rioting in the streets as a last ditch option.

It's important to understand what happened yesterday with Flynn, so here goes:

Flynn plead guilty to a PROCESS crime. That's it. That process crime is he "lied" to the FBI for failing to disclose he was speaking to Russian counter-parts after the election, allegedly at the behest of a higher-up in the President Elect Trump Transition Team.

There was NOTHING ILLEGAL with setting up or even having conversations with Russian Counterparts after the election, period. It's commonplace, and it's part of the transition process to guarantee a smooth transition from an outgoing Administration to the incoming Administration. It's part of our peaceful transfer of power.

IN FACT, Obama did the EXACT SAME THING when he rushed out after the 2012 elections and setup the very first "Office of the President Elect" which included usage of the Presidential Seal. That caused a HUGE uproar -- am I the only one who remembers that? And now Obama says "we can only have one President at a time!" when he himself usurped then President Bush's Presidential Power at every turn before he himself was sworn into office. But I digress.

Where Flynn broke the law was in denying he was setting up those conversations, participating in them AND had connections that he'd previously failed to disclose.

That's lying to the FBI - a PROCESS crime.

Now, if Robert Mueller had anything more serious on Flynn than a process crime, he'd use that FIRST to apply the maximum pressure for Flynn's cooperation in any investigation. Prosecutors DO NOT press for cooperation by applying pressure with the least crime first. They apply the maximum pressure they can with the maximum charge they can.

The fact that Robert Mueller is charging Flynn with lying to the FBI, a "process" crime tells us that as of right now, Mueller has a big nothing burger on President Trump.

Color me not worried at all.

“Flynn’s plea marks the end of the desperate hope that America will be delivered from the Trump presidency by impeachment and removal from office on the grounds that his campaign colluded with Russia to win him the 2016 election.”

Still, still, these benighted fools never, ever venture to explain just how the Russians gained the ability to manipulate an American election. Or, in other word, do what Hillary and the democrats could not do with hundreds of millions of dollars spent and with about a century of experience stealing elections.
