I know the allbarn tigers beat bama... but they already lost to Clemson once, seems a bit unfair to put them in again against them...
On Wisconsin!
Big weekend coming up. Stanford/USC game is Friday night. Plenty of yuge stuff all day Saturday.
Auburn beat both Georgia and Alabama while they were ranked #1. Auburn lost to Clemson, the #1 team and held them to 14 points.
Auburn loss at LSU was typical of a brain-fart loss you get trying to coach 18 - 23 year olds.
they have earned a top 4 spot, maybe not #2.
Yep this list is utter crap this year.
true, but i think Ga was clearly over ranked at #1, they were completely blown out in that “game”...and it wouldnt surprise me to see it happen this weekend...
and I think Bama was #1 on reputation alone, they havent really played anyone..
not saying they arent a good team, they are clearly playing well... but they still have two losses.
Strength of schedule doesn’t account for much.
AU is playing great ball right now, best they’ve played all year.
Bama does not deserve the five ranking. But, the Committee and the networks love them some Saban!
Bama will make the playoffs - by hook or by crook.
This week should be really goo. Motto is to be in you gotta win
Bucky vs Buckeyes
Auburn vs GA
Clemson vs Miami
Okla vs TCU
My Panthers soundly defeated No. 2 Miami and last year defeated No. 2 ranked Clemson.
Hail to Pitt!
Even though I am an Auburn fan, I would put them #4, with OK and WI ahead.
Clemson is NOT as strong as their W-L record indicates, as their games include several squeakers, and the brain-fart loss to Syracuse.
Miami-Clemson will be a game to watch.
Hopefully that Mi/cl game is good, I feel like Clem will stomp them, but hoping not.
that QB for Ok.. damn that guy can throw...
I will say AU looks VERY good right now though, not sure how much losing your RB will hurt you...
I heard rumors they were going fire the coach before??
No 2-loss team should ever be considered.
Best thing is watching 2 arrogant aholes, Saban and Meyers,
not make the playoffs
Especially after last years total meltdown by Ohio State
Meyers was completely AWOL following that one
“if TCU beats the Okies” — That’s a big “if” considering OU beat TCU 38-20 just 3 weeks ago. OU has done nothing the last 2 easy games to indicate a loss of momentum or skill.
I would put Wisky #1 and OU #2.
OU has one loss to a pretty good ISU team who have lost 5 games by a total of 25 points, including Saturday’s robbery when the official picked up a pass interference flag when it very obviously the call was correct.
