Another week, more picks. Here goes:
- Washington at Dallas: Dak's confidence must be waning after terrible outtings in recent weeks. Fortunately Jason Garrett is there to pull out all the coaching tricks in his arsenal to get him back on course. Look, he's clapping and smiling at Dak right now. And there it is, the fist pump! Bang! That ought to do it! Redskins win
- Denver at Miami: Denver has no QB but they have a respectable defense. On the other hand, Miami has the passion and fire of Jay Cutler. Dolphins win
- Detroit at Baltimore: Detroit needs a win but so does Baltimore. Both 6-5 mediocre teams, but the AFC is so bad that Baltimore could still get in. On the other hand, the NFC south alone has three teams with more wins than Detroit so a wildcard looks hard. Lions just have less to play for. Ravens Win
- Houston at Tennessee: Texans are weak, too many injuries to overcome this year. Tennessee isn't great but in a weak AFC they have racked up victories. That continues this week. Titans Win
- Indianapolis at Jacksonville: Are the Colts still taking airplanes to their away games or does their owner make them go greyhound? Might as well leave the driving the greyhound because the colts will already be leaving the winning to the Jags. Jaguars win
- Kansas City at N.Y. Jets: Last week I said mean things about Andy Reid on the thread. Well, maybe not mean. Accurate? Whatever, I will make it up to Big Red right now. Chefs win
- Minnesota at Atlanta: This ought to be a good game. Atlanta is desperate to stay in the hunt because at 7-3 they are in third place in a crazy hot division. Vikes are just about uncatchable in their division and coasting to a 2nd place seed at this rate. On the road in a dome with very little to play for? I think the Vikings may be a better team but I'm going to take a risk and say Falcons win
- New England at Buffalo: I predict the over/under on players picking Buffalo this week to be ZERO and I'll take the under. Patriots win
- San Francisco at Chicago: Gadzooks, I hope they post a warning in the pregame show so that the unspspecting public doesnt accidently watch this. I guess I have to pick someone but it's not going to be easy. When in doubt, home team gets the win. Bears win
- Tampa Bay at Green Bay: Two bottom dwellers duking it out, how fun. When in doubt, home team gets the win. Packers win
- Cleveland at L.A. Chargers: Let's see ... oh it's the Browns. Browns are 1-26 since passing on Carson Wentz in the 2016 draft. This isn't the week the end the drought. Chargers win
- Carolina at New Orleans: Good game. Both teams are red hot. But Saints lost in a tough way last week and they are at home with their future hall of fame QB wanting to regain ground in the playoff seeding. I think Saints win
- L.A. Rams at Arizona: Rams are better than the Cardinals. Simple as that. Rams win
- N.Y. Giants at Oakland: As long as the Giants have Eli Manning at QB they always have a chanc... hold on, getting a tweet... WHAT?! Geno Smith? GENO SMITH? I ... wait ... I ... no that can't be right. It is? Excuse me, I have to sell my home and put the proceeds on the Raiders to win. Raiders win
- Philadelphia at Seattle: This is a tough one, Eagles are legit, I have no doubt. Good in all phases of the game but they are young and playing a decent but depleted team in a really tough venue with a wizard at QB. If they were in Philly I'd take the Eagles but in Seattle? Tough call. I feel like they may be getting a bit cocky and due for a punch in the mouth wake up call but I still have to go with my heart and say Eagles Win
- Pittsburgh at Cincinnati: I just don't think the Bungles can do it this week. Steelers win
