I was in attendance when a doctor was evaluating my father for dementia. He was doing great, even spelling “world” backwards, without hesitation, “dee el are oh double-yew”, which the doctor had to check on his fingers.

Then at the end, the doctor asked him what year it was, “1975” my dad declared, again without hesitation. It was 2005, or so.
