Yes!
Well, the CFP committee is tasked with choosing the four best teams for the playoffs, not the the four best teams in terms of viewership for ESPN. The PAC 12 and BIG at least for this season are inferior to the ACC, BIG 12 and SEC.
The Fantasy College Championship.
Take the Big 5 Champions and add 3 other Champions and have a real championship. This is a joke.

Better yet, realign the power five into a power four. Each conference would have two divisions of eight. The conference championship game would be your round of eight. Only winners advance.
The “3 other champions” can have their own championship.
That even sounds better.
Mercer also played Auburn this season, losing that one by only 10-24. Two good paydays this year.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the Big Xii were split up between the B1G and the SEC. Maybe a few teams would go a G conference.
Two, good humbling paydays this year. :-D
This year is proving this fantasy championship is a complete joke. It is only so the media can control it.
You can make an argument for any of the top 12 teams. You don’t win your championship you don’t belong in.
Wisconsin has played exactly TWO decent teams all season. Let’s see where they are in a few weeks.
Then, the independents would need to be in conference.
In a few weeks the playoff teams will be decided
I guess they should have played mercer, Colorado State and Vanderbilt. Maybe they would be number 1.
