First Lady Melania Trump will accept the official White House Christmas tree Monday evening. The event is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Normally, the first lady receives the White House Christmas tree on the Friday following Thanksgiving. This year, however, and due to the family's rigorous schedule, the holiday season will hit the White House a bit early.
What does that mean, exactly? Well, according to the Palm Beach Post, the Trumps will be extending their Thanksgiving respite at Mar-a-Lago until November 26, which would be well after the normal tree delivery day. As a result, the tree will arrive at the People's House nearly a week early.
This year's tree is a 19-foot-tall balsam fir that comes by way of the Silent Night Evergreens Christmas Farm of Wisconsin, owned by the Chapman family.

We are so lucky we have the FLOTUS to do this, and not the FPOTUS.

Be nice having a Christmas tree commemorating the REAL meaning of the season..........instead of celebrating the most deviant segments of society.
Thanks much for posting/ping.
