Agree. My father is in midst of such. He is also Korean War era. It is still not super bad, but is faster progressing.

I play senior softball with two guys who have parkinsons. For one, it's very noticeable when he's standing out in the field his glove hand is visably shaking but it doesn't affect his play at all.....he's a real good player.

The second one is my manager and his tremors are barely noticeable.....

One of the early signs is a person stops walking momentarily while walking through a doorway. I noticed my father doing this a few years before he was diagnosed. After diagnosis we learned that stalling in the doorway is an early sign.

A neighbor is currently dying of Parkinson's disease and it isn't pretty - good man, too. Korean War vet, gun collector, ham radio operator. He's down to 100 pounds and hospice is there frequently. I wouldn't wish it on anybody, including the phony "Reverend".

Prayers for your neighbor - and all people suffering from this horrible disease..

We noticed it as he walked down a long hallway. Very stiff with his arms at his sides. The memory issue was not as obvious as he was able to fake a lot.
