MSNBC host Katy Tur aggressively questioned Gloria Allred on Thursday over her knowledge regarding the authenticity of the yearbook that Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore is alleged to have signed. That yearbook belongs to Allreds client, who claims that Moore sexually assaulted her.
Turs questions stemmed from a press conference on Wednesday where the attorney for Moore questioned the legitimacy of the yearbook that belongs to Beverly Young Nelson.
After pressing Allred several times about the issue, Tur finally pinned Allred into a corner and put her in a position where she had to answer.
But did she see him sign it? Tur asked.
You know, I dont I havent asked her if she saw him, but we did describe what happened that evening in question, Allred responded. What she alleges was that she put it on the counter; that I think she asked to sign or that he did sign it. Thats all.
I agree. Gloria only cares about keeping this alive until the election is over. If Moore loses, she’s done her job and will be well paid. If the truth comes out after that, well, she doesn’t care.
Allred knows that the court of public opinion — the only court she has introduced this “evidence” into so far — has no such restrictions.
When is she going to submit her client to questioning
Gloria doesn’t know, doesn’t want to find out.
A little creepy, as seen from the perspective of 2017, but in 1977, not at all unusual for a recently discharged veteran (1974) to take up with females several years his junior. And as the age of consent in Alabama then and now is 16 years of age, not, by legal definition, taking up with a “child”, as has been alleged.
As to the “14-year-old” female, not unknown for a young girl to lie about her age, which of course, is not a defense, but is there any confirmation that this series of events actually happened? Or is there a lie today?
If so, it is slander, pure and simple. And slander IS a civil offense, which may land in civil court. Much harder to make the case for being a criminal action, but then, did not the relatives of Nicole Brown Simpson sue OJ for civil damages, and WIN? Even though the murder was never proved in a court of law, there was a strong opinion there was still a serious civil liability.
Judge Roy Moore’s real offense, apparently, is being “Captain America”, a term applied to him during his military service, by the men serving under him. A strict interpretation of the regulations, and firm discipline applied as called for, proved he may have been just, but not very forgiving of human frailty.
But simultaneously, he was also a man of strong religious faith, which also put him poor standing with a lot of people of lesser moral stature. And this may have his greatest sin of all, professing that Christian belief, and living it in every aspect of his daily routine.
“Bearing false witness” is specifically detailed as being prohibited in the Ten Commandments. So we are pretty sure that Judge Moore would neither lie himself, nor tolerate it in another.
Allred is women’s Al Sharpton.
Everything or they wouldn’t have submitted it as evidence
As proof he knew her
Are you dense
If that is a forgery then her whole account is
Gloria is a swamp turd, needing to be flushed
Harsh but true.
I think it’s funny how the Libs always think they’re the smartest, most clever humans on earth - then they do stuff like this, which anybody who ever watched a single episode of Columbo could sniff out.
lol
um... anyone else think it’s odd that someone would get their supposed sexual attacker to sign their yearbook?
naaa... completely normal!
lol
1. The racial epithets were written upside down, which likely meant that she was looking down at herself while writing them.
2. The word "n!&&er" was spelled wrong. The police figured that any racist who went to such trouble to do such a thing would surely know how to spell THAT correctly. Seriously. LMAO.
I was a relative nobody and she was just being kind. We were in a school play together (she was the lead, I had a very minor part) and she never gave me more than a friendly hug. But she did go on to become a semi-famous actress on Broadway.
And I would never dream of pulling out a high school yearbook to embarass her because it was said in jest.
People did that kind of stuff back in the 1970s.
Whatever happened to just signing the yearbook with, Have a kick-ass Summer
Who pays Allred?
Or “2gr8 2b 4gotten?”
Gloria waffling to be sure she doesn’t sink her own sorry ass....
I've met her and she is VERY butch.
Kyle Whitmire is an effete "columnist" there (though he's married) and he's written with more vitriol against Judge Moore than anyone, with the possible exception of John "I forgot I declared bankruptcy and I've got a gay brother" Archibald.
They hate Judge Moore and they have made it clear that they do.
Their jobs are also dependent on pleasing their editor. Those 3 papers are owned by Advance and they have laid off over 40% of their employees in the past few years and now only print 3 days a week.
So you have lesbains and leftists calling the shots and maybe a couple of people who are afraid to speak out in fear of losing their jobs.
But this is a hate campaign of the highest order.
Money talks.
