Disturbing news has emerged that Lil Peep has passed away at age 21. According to early reports, the rapper overdosed on xanax and fentanyl pills before his concert in Tuscon, Arizona on Wednesday night.
A Reddit user has compiled a timeline of the nights events, claiming that Bexxey, one of Peeps best friends, was seen outside the show venue in a state of shock. The likes of Lil Yachty, Post Malone, Father and Lil Pump have posted their condolences via Twitter.
Lil Peep, whose music blends rap with rock samples and features dark lyrical content, was active on Instagram just 15 hours before the alleged incident.

Who would have thought Lil Peep would pass away before Charles Manson?
"You better come to the station house.Your son is dead."
"D-d-dead? H-h-how?"
"He died of a drug overdose."
"Oh my God!"
--from the Top 40 hit Once You Understand, by Think, 1971. Ever notice how many death notices you see in the paper, young people who died "suddenly" or "unexpectedly"?

Yep--truly part of the masters of modern music. Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon, David Bowie, Lil Peep.

Too bad rap can’t pass away from a drug overdose. 35 years of it is long enough.

Part of the music known as emo, not to be confused with Emo Phillips, I guess.
A few years ago some of the young’uns were into EDM, Electronic Dance Music, and some still are. They would go to rave shows and some overdosed on a drug known as Molly. A Boston radio station at 101.7 FM (”Evolution”) was playing “EDM”: “All Things Dance”. I joked they should be called WMLE, Molly 101.7. All things overdose.
The station later changed to country as The Bull and got real ratings and earnings.

Lil Peep’s recording career may take off now but if he’d lived to be 27 he could’ve joined da club.

Disturbing to folks in Arizona who were looking forward to his show and now won’t get it. Gone at the ripe old age of 21.

He’s shifted his musical focus and will now perform an extended jam of John Cage’s 4’33”.
