I think the Sheriff better back up and take another look at the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Like maybe the 1st Amendment thereto?

I may not like the message, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and probably piss off a few fellow freepers...but I say leave the truck the hell alone and find something that affects the safety and health of the people of the County...and get out of the censorship business.

It’s not the msg per se, it’s the use of the “F” word

It is not censorship to call out such nasty behavior against the country and the man who was chosen by the people to lead it for the next four years. What kind of example of respect do you think does no harm to young minds that will be the future of the USA???? Do you approve of this type of behavior being pushed on everyone in our society. Where have our morals gone?

“”I think the Sheriff better back up and take another look at the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.””

How about looking at the license plate for registered owner? Or are vehicles in TX not required to have license plates?

I’m big on the First Amendment, myself. But there are limits. The most famous is

"Never get involved in a land war in Asia

crying “FIRE!” in a crowded theater, but there are others. E.g., “assault” is just threatening words.

Abusive language directed at (a large fraction of) the general public certainly sounds like “disorderly conduct" to me.
