Seems like a very reasonable response from the Sherriff.
If I saw such a truck, well I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t also heavily vandalized.

The sheriff's statement has stirred up controversy among members of the public.
"I'm glad to see out government officials are concentrating on what's important," Facebook user Antonio Herrera commented on the post.
If Antonio was trying to be sarcastic, he did a piss poor job of it. The citizens have demanded action, and the government is correctly responding. What's wrong with that?

Hard to read those stickers when the truck has no f*****g glass left in it!

"...vandalized..."
Republicans cannot be bothered with childishly vandalizing another persons vehicle over silly bumperstickers.

The Sheriff’s job is to keep the peace and by pushing this offender and bringing him to justice, the people and the peace will be protected.

If it said F-— Obama it would have been burned to the ground and the owner jailed for a hate crime.

Back in the 80’s in Florida there were a lot of guys who had bumper stickers that said “Don't like my driving? Call 1-800-F*CKYOU”, except without the *. They passed a law requiring vulgar language on bumper stickers to be no more than about 1/8” tall. Seems like that would be a good solution here.

It is amazing that comments here are largely ignoring the issue. It does not have anything to do with a comment about Trump, it has everything to do with the language. Does anybody seriously think if the comment expressed the same sentiment without the profanity, anybody would pay any attention to it. And by the way, that is why he used such large lettering.
