I'll admit the new Jeep Scrambler looks interesting:

Why would any car aspire to turn into a Ford?

Same ones were when I was in early 70’s.................

I think you’re mistaking Subaru with Suzuki who is the one that imported the Samurai.

Are you thinking of the Suzuki "Mini Brute"? I momentarily thought about buying one, but eventually bought my CJ7. (A lot of good that roll bar is going to do without seat and shoulder belts!)

Reminds me of the J10 J20 trucks some.

I had a Ford Tempo and every time I drove it I needed TUMS. I had a Ford Escort and every time I drove it I was dead broke like I just paid for a high priced escort only the only one getting screwed was me.

Sad to say, but it won’t be long before the fools at FCA turn the iconic Wrangler into just another Fiat on steroids.
And still. Still they will ask and get north of $40K for these things.

bttt - My Liberty almost qualifies as a Jeep. ;o) Anyway I bought it to compliment my FR handle and it has served me well for 125,000 miles. I'm thinking about buying a new Toyota Rav4 but will keep my Jeep as a back-up.

That’s the air intake for the engine. It’s deliberately moved up there to prevent the engine from sucking in water, mud, etc.

It was just weird after never seeing one of these “snorkels” before I have been seeing them a lot lately on what appears to be a brand new jeep. Is there a Jeep Rubicon or something that comes from the factory with this snorkel?
To: Yo-Yo
What was their reasoning as to why they said it was easy to roll? It wasn’t like an Isuzu Trooper II that was tall and narrow with a high center of gravity. Was the extra short wheelbase the reason it rolled so easily?
To: Responsibility2nd
Sad to say, but it wont be long before the fools at FCA turn the iconic Wrangler into just another Fiat on steroids. The Renegade is a Fiat 500X.
