What was their reasoning as to why they said it was easy to roll? It wasn’t like an Isuzu Trooper II that was tall and narrow with a high center of gravity. Was the extra short wheelbase the reason it rolled so easily?

It was the first vehicle to roll while going through their normal slalom course test.

They were so shocked that they subsequently put on those outrigger pontoons and duplicated the test, with similar results.

They gave the Samurai a 'not acceptable' and killed the brand.
