Nancy Zieman Productions, LLC. is saddened by the death of our friend and colleague, Nancy Zieman, longtime host of the Sewing With Nancy TV show on Public Television. Thank you, Nancy, for a life filled with inspiration, education, and grace. We extend our condolences to Nancys family, friends, colleagues, viewers and readers. We all miss her so much.
After a long battle with cancer, Nancy passed away at home, surrounded by family, on November 14, 2017. A private funeral service is planned with family and close friends.
Nancy Rocked It!
Beau told me a few weeks ago that she had taken ill. What a trooper she was.
Many, MANY will be touched by this loss. :(
Thank you for posting this! *SMOOCH*
Oh, my goodness. How sad. I used to sew, lived in Wisconsin and took one of Nancy’s classes.
Learned a lot from that lady! I loved her books.
I loved watching her shows years back. Loved her books too.
God rest her soul!
My wife is an art quilter and has been a faithful Sewing with Nancy viewer since the show began. Nancy showed great courage throughout her life, especially when she learned her cancer had returned and was untreatable. She pushed through to get a last full season of her program completed for her staff and fans.
I used to watch her, too. She suffered from Bell’s Palsy all of her life, and never let it stop her:

She was a great lady and peerless teacher.
God rest her soul and comfort her family.
As a seamstress, I remember watching her in the early years. Good advice and nice.
How sad! I sew off and on and always enjoyed her show and books.
