With the season not as much circling the drain as drained, Giants co-owner John Mara apparently has been replying to fans who have written him letters in outrage.
Mara, who along with Steve Tisch confirmed Monday that there would be no house-cleaning prior to seasons end, understands the anger.
I have your letter. Nobody is more upset than I am with our performance so far, the letter, posted on Twitter last week by @akashmann15, reads. I learned a long time ago that the season is a marathon, nor a sprint, and things can look a whole lot different in December than they do.

Why is this article written by a former Jets quarterback.
I see a pizza franchise in ELI’S FUTURE.........................
who cares?
Now I know how Jets and Bills fans have felt like for the last 30 years.
Giants will pull a Jets and win just enough games not to get the first pick in the draft.
The entire NFL has lost to the anthem-kneelers.
I can’t honestly say Eli Manning is a great quarterback, but he has two Superbowl rings, and he’s been a starter for more than a dozen years, without any threat of being replaced. Very few can say that. Even this year, his numbers weren’t horrible in most games.
Ben McAdoo = Ray Handley.
I thought they should have kept Coughlin, but not sure they should fire him yet. Of course, I’m not a Giants fan.
Actually, all the TEAM players on those two superbowl TEAMS have rings...including the linemen, punters, field goal holders, etc.
” ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED “
Peyton’s not sweating Eli one upping him by getting another super bowl win.
I have been a Giants fan since 1956, and I have mixed feelings about Eli.
But.
Who else has beaten Brady, twice, in the Super Bowl?
” ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED “
But, I doubt many would argue that QB's record in Superbowl's is considered more important. And Manning was the MVP of both wins.
I want to thank the Giants for being so awful this year—made it easier to boycott them and the rest of the league.
btw I watched the Giants on TV faithfully for more than fifty years—until I boycotted them this year.
Take that—NFL kneelers!
And BOTH Superbowls were against the Patriots!.....................
I recall a QB name Marino whose TEAM never won a Superbowl.
But I sure as hell would prefer Marino as my QB over that over-hyped “2-ring Lil’ manning”....
Right? As far as the Giants and their in-the-toilet season, I am just kind of sad that Eli may end up going out on such a low....If he stays at it, they’ll probably bring in a new QB soon enough, and edge him out. In retrospect, it was great that Peyton was able to go out on top, like he did.
Totally agree! I stopped watching last year with that Colon/Colin idiot. It’s definitely made it easier this year.
