New York Times reports:
One idea now being discussed under this scenario, brought up by two different White House officials who spoke on condition of anonymity, would be for Gov. Kay Ivey of Alabama to immediately appoint Attorney General Jeff Sessions to what had been his seat when it becomes vacant again. Mr. Sessions remains highly popular among Alabama Republicans, but his relationship with President Trump has waned since he recused himself from the investigation of the role that Russia played in last year’s campaign.

Question: What if Gloria Allred and her ilk then are able to fabricate some sort of sexual harrassment charges against Sessions? How will that solve the RNC’s problem?

Completely illegal. Not even close to legal. Sessions couldn’t win in Alabama anymore any way because he has not prosecuted the felonies.

I have a proposal which should be trumpeted far and wide: MSM, Democraps, and RINO Senators are not allowed even to DISCUSS the allegations against Moore unless they affirm that Bill Clinton should have been removed from office after being impeached by the US House in 1998.

I know how dirty DC is. But I must admit I am stunned at this coordinated effort to get rid of Moore. This is equal to the level they hit Trump with, and it is for a senatorial seat? Maybe it is just circling the wagons around mcturtle. Or maybe they thing they are sending a message to other would be politicians from outside the established elites. It’s astonishing.
