How fast? Try an elapsed time of 9.65 seconds at 140 mph. Zero to 60 mph happens in a mere 2.3 seconds. The Demon is also the first production car to achieve a front-wheel lift. Its 840-hp of awesomeness.

No, no. Fiat makes Jeeps.
FCA has sunk to this:
The Jeep brand is now little better than low rent Fiats.
Chrysler itself only has 2 cars. An aging 300 sedan. And a minivan.
The only thing good about the Dodge brand is they sell very fast cars. Not good cars, of course. Just fast ones.
Oh year. A truck brand. Fords, GM, even Toyotas are better.
The question begs, does these auction go bye-bye as boomers die off. These X and Y-er's don't like our "Stuff" they don't get it, they don't want it, whether it is your cherished oak kitchen table or your Hummel collection and possibly collector cars. They could care less...
How many trees did you hit when you raced Camaros?
Don’t they own Dodge also?
“And if youre alive in the next 10 to 20 years, youll see a bunch of them at collector car auctions like Mecum and Barrett-Jackson and the average Demon on the block will have between 25 and 750 miles on the odo.”
Like the 25th anniversary 78 Corvette the WSJ did an article about being a great collectible when it came out? Ha. However the Demon is likely to be a stock car with the performance that will be unsurpassed in the future. I doubt if computer driven cars will do burnouts.
It won't surprise me if the Chrysler and Dodge brands join Olds, Pontiac, Plymouth, Mercury, etc. in the automotive afterlife within a year or two. Chyrsler only sells two models, the Pacifica minivan, the the 300 sedan. The Pacifica is not selling nearly as well as hoped when they introduced it a couple of years ago, and the 300 hasn't had a major redesign in ten years. Dodge is surving on "special editions" like the Demon. Their entire lineup, like Chrysler, has gone ten years with only face lifts. My guess is FCA will shut down Chrysler and Dodge, then sell the Jeep and Ram divisions to another automaker.
Tesla might ban itself. The company has lost something like 4 billion over the years. It lost over 600 million just last quarter. It has never turned a yearly profit. And it continues to miss its already anemic production goals. Just laid off a bunch of employees.
Poor Chrysler. Not since the Iacocca days have they been successful.
They had a pretty good run when Daimler owned them. But for the most part - they are less than adequate.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has many automotive brands under its umbrella.
“They could care less...”
About 10 years ago I saw an 80+ year old guy setting in his restored 36 Ford two door waiting to have it go through an auto auction. I felt really bad for him. The person who bought it likely expressed his creativity by paying someone to put a Mustang II front end and 302 and chopping the roof and making it a street rod or rat rod.
The Physics Behind the Tesla Model S P100D’s 2.28-Second 0-60 Blast
http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/car-technology/videos/a32605/tesla-model-s-p100d-ludicrous-acceleration/
That makes this Tesla quicker than the 949-hp Ferrari LaFerrarian especially astonishing feat when you consider the P100D weighs nearly 5000 pounds.
hahaha, no they gonna hit the trees.
Every once in a while I find myself getting on it a bit too much. So I go home and watch car fail videos and watch people crash their new rides.
Physics does funny things sometimes. I’ll keep my car in one piece. Actually...don’t think I’ve ever “raced” someone on the street. Too many people I don’t want to kill.
This one has a “0-to-60... EVENTUALLY” sticker.
A friend found the sticker for me, I like it.

According to this article, apparently the only car that beats it 0-60 (independently measured) is the Porsche 918 Spyder
I don’t buy Fiats.
What is the Tesla 0-60 time?
I’m certain it doesn’t have a sub 10 second quarter mile.
“My wife has a Subaru Forester. No she is not a lesbian. When I go to pass someone, it is an all day affair. It is epicly underpowered.”
She should have got the 2004 Subaru Forester 2.5 XT Turbo. 0 to 60 in 5.2 seconds and quarter mile in 13.6 seconds right out of the box. Probably would give your Infiniti a run for it’s money.
“... and the average Demon on the block will have between 25 and 750 miles on the odo”
And hopefully, bring in some big bucks.
It should be noted that Sergio has a marked proclivity for upping production numbers on items that are valued because of low production.
It is better that Enzo never saw this act.
All things must pass....
As our reaction time increases, everything else appears to speed up!
My R/T can now be measured on a kitchen clock...
I have a BMW & Honda MCs in the garage and my bicycle gets a hundred times more miles last summer.
The old airhead feels wickedly fast!
