there have been many great tv shows.
Let's look at the current state of affairs.
In no particular order.
Blue Bloods-just watch episode 6 of the recent season!
Gold Rush-yes reality tv, but at its best.
Game of Thrones-better than any movie I have ever seen.
Oh Yes. Terrific program but I do miss the man that used to be on.
We have their cookbook , great reference.

I finally got around to reading, ‘The Alienist’ this past year. Loved it! :)
Rumor has it there are two more ‘Jesse Stone’ movies in the works. CBS is doing one and Hallmark is doing one.
Do you read Robert Parker? He’s deceased now, but he invented so many great characters, including Jesse. Check him out if you’re not already familiar.
I also forgot to add, ‘Sherlock’ the newest version with Benedict Cumberbatch and that ‘Hobbit’ guy, LOL! (Never can remember his name!)
I like Blue Bloods but why do they feel the need to shove Whoopi Goldberg in our faces on some episodes? There are way better and less annoying lib actors and actresses out there. Looks to me like the show is trying to balance out Tom Sellek.
A fisherman are we?
Couldn’t tell you a one, haven’t watched a regular TV show in years, nor do I have any desire to.
Thanks, I did hear about the new Jesse Stone Movies. Looking forward to them.
Really? The government (FED or Local?) is now providing free television?

Christopher Kimball. He sold the show to Conde Nast for a gazillion dollars. He’s not hurting, LOL! I LOVE Julia and Bridget! Whenever I make something new, Beau asks, ‘Who taught you that? Bridget or Julia?’ Smart-@zz!
Kimball has a new magazine of his own, and a cookbook, (restaurant, too, I think?) which I find too high-brow for my tastes (I was a charter subscriber), but they’re beautifully done and showcase up and coming chefs:

One we look forward to on weekends, instead of NFL, ‘Live PD’ on A&E.
Follows numerous police depts from around the nation live. Cameras riding the the cars.
On 3 hrs on Fri and again Sat nights. We DVR them and watch them later.
Eyeopening as to how many unlicensed , suspended drivers are running around. Drunk , drugged, amazing.
An oldie goldie I love, watching for at least the 3rd time, all seasons, NYPD Blue. Have a relative that used to call me ‘Sipowitz”.. lol
Add:
Gold Rush
Deadliest Catch
It’s the High Definition TV that’s over the air. Just regular everyday TV that you use an antenna to catch.
Do you remember a number of years ago when Mother Government MANDATED that all TV stations/broadcasts must be in HD TV and everyone had to get a new ‘box’ or antenna for their TV sets?
That’s what we have - no cable or Dish out here, other than Satellite Internet, which SUCKS at best.
So, I ‘jokingly’ call it, ‘Free Government TV’ because Po Peoples deserves High Definition TV! Mother Government says we do!
*SMIRK*
LIVE PD
The Walking Dead
Gold Rush
Bearing Sea Gold
The Curse of Oak Island
Deadliest Catch
Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath
I Have never missed an episode of any of the above
The Long Road Home (New, good so far)
LOST, the best TV series of all time! I bought the entire series on DVD (cheap, check around for deals) Watching it this way was like watching an epic film that lasts for 18 hours.
I saw the entire series on TV and have watched the entire series on DVD 3 times, so far.
yes to deadliest catch!
Same w my wife and me. Her: NFL, college football, tennis, DWTS, home decorating, Judge Judy. Me: selected movies via Netflix, Jesse Stone, Blue Bloods, Longmore, House of Cards, The Man in the High Castle, Mad Men, Suits, Justified
Chicago PD, Chicago Justice, Chicago Med...all good. We’re not too hep on Chicago Fire.
We watched all Blue Bloods on Prime...the included ones up thru Season 6. One of our favorite series.
I’ve circled back to S1E1 of Justified...binge watching. Trying to get my wife interested...not sure she’s there yet.
About the only thing we watch on normal TV...Jeopardy (which I hate because they’re LIBERAL PIECES OF CRAP), and Wheel of Fortune (we love Pat & Vanna).
Unfortunately, the wife still watches the NF’nL if Carolina is playing. I spend THAT time scrubbing the inside of the toilet reservoir tank or polishing my Mont Blanc pen.
The wife’s a big fan of Blue Bloods. We watched Quigley Down Under the other night. She’d never heard of it but enjoyed it (probably the fourth time I’ve seen it). Took her awhile to picture Tom Selleck as a cowboy.
