there have been many great tv shows.
Let's look at the current state of affairs.
In no particular order.
Blue Bloods-just watch episode 6 of the recent season!
Gold Rush-yes reality tv, but at its best.
Game of Thrones-better than any movie I have ever seen.
Never stopped you.
Should be a VERY SHORT list.
This will be a short thread.

Reality TV I like Forged in Fire
(Loved Top Shot)
Watch Oak Island (keep hoping the narrator will cite to “Ancient Astronaut Theorists”
GOT I missed the start Watched one or two episodes but....
Blue Bloods have not seen.
Over now, but recommended if can be watched from start:
*Halt and Catch Fire
*Orphan Black
but died a death after season 2.
I have never seen orphan black.
Recent things we’ve watched on DVD and have enjoyed:
‘Firefly’ (Don’t miss this one!)
‘Justified’ (Not for the meek; LOTS of shooting!)
‘Homeland’
‘24’ (Starting Season 5; MUCH better than prior seasons)
‘Wallander’
‘Foyle’s War’ (SUPERB! WWII-related crimes in England)
‘The Father Brown Mysteries’
‘Miss Fischer Mysteries’
‘Lonesome Dove’
‘Jesse Stone’ series (Tom Selleck)
I also like ‘Blue Bloods’ we have a ‘Free’ Government TV station (ION) that plays ‘Blue Bloods’ ‘Law & Order’ (a number of versions) and ‘Criminal Minds’ in endless rotation. Never watched them in Real Time, but am enjoying a re-run from time to time.
There isn’t a single TV show on now that I go out of my way to watch, other than a police procedural such as Dateline or 24 Hours. I like to watch cooking shows - any of the ‘Cooks Country’ (America’s Test Kitchen) series are well worth the look if you like to cook - which I do!
I really liked “Anne With and E” and I’m looking forward to the next season. My kids (HS + college) like Sherlock more than I did, bit it was OK. Mind Games is interesting.
A yes to BB, I would add Hawaii 5-0, NCIS and NCIS NO, for camp we like Scorpion, any number of car shows on Velocity and the much maligned on this site DWTS(Good looking women, good music and fun dancing. What’s not to like for a diversion from the ugliness of politics for a couple of hours a week?)
But I tried to specific about now.
Keep smiling
Philip
