ORIGINAL STORY
Over the course of three months, a robber decided to test his luck not once but three times at the M Resort in Las Vegas.
On Aug. 24, Gregory Bolusan reportedly entered the M Resort at 3:54 a.m. with a handgun and a backpack. He demanded that the cage employee hand over all of their money but was unsuccessful due to the employee fleeing the cage.
Bolusan returned to the M Resort on Sept. 10 at 5:33 a.m. with the intentions robbing the casino cage again. This time he made away with $29,589. Investigators were able to identify him because he wore the same clothing, drove the same vehicle and used a similar gun and backpack.
In his final attempt, Bolusan returned to the M Resort on Oct. 28 and was able to use the same game plan to make away with $33,480 or so he thought.
Bolusan was wearing different clothes during this robbery attempt but was driving the exact same vehicle, parked in the exact same spot, and entered the exact same doors as before. This led to M Resort security members apprehending Bolusan before he could get away with the cash.
During the arrest, it was determined that he was driving a white 2010 Toyota Camry and that his gun was not real. He was booked into the Henderson Detention Center on several counts of attempted robbery, burglary.
Bolusan is believed to be a Senior Pastor at Grace Bible Church Las Vegas located at 10900 Southern Highlands Parkway.
The church's website had him listed as a pastor as recently as Nov. 3.
UPDATE NOV. 7: How and why the accused church pastor kept coming back to M Resort may have to do with his wife.
County property records show Gregory Bolusan's wife is Lea Mercado Bolusan.
On Lea Mercado Bolusan's Linked In page, she's listed as shift manager at the M Resort casino.
Insiders tell 13 Action News she worked in the casino cage until a few days ago -- the same cage police say Greg Bolusan robbed.
M Resort would not answer questions about Lea Mercado Bolusan.
They sent a statement saying:
The safety and security of our guests is always our paramount concern and we have a robust security infrastructure in place to help prevent these types of incidents. As this is an ongoing law enforcement matter, we are referring all media calls to the Henderson Police Department, and while we are cooperating fully with their investigation, we cannot offer any additional details at this time.
Henderson Police also declined to answer our questions.
When we tried to get information about Lea Mercado Bolusan from the Nevada Gaming Control Board, they said it was confidential.
Attempts to reach the Bolusans for comment have been unsuccessful.

UPDATE: Wife of accused thief worked at M Resort
A pastor huh. Apparently he doesn’t obey the 10 commandments. Worse yet, he may not know them at all.
My title is a little confusing. The wife wasn’t robbed 3 times. The Hotel/Casino was. (Need to edit better).
New religious order of the Non-Commandants.
This confirms fact ‘that you can stand in a garage and say you are a car, but that does not make you a car’, anymore than saying one is a Christian.
Bible says ‘you will know them by their fruits’. However, do not be confused, because murderers, thieves, and adulterers will be in Kingdom of Heaven. Sin is forgiven when asked, once Jesus is accepted, and person tries to live by God’s word! The fruits are those shown, while living the Christian life claimed! God puts sin in sea of forgetfulness, never to be remembered, it’s man/woman/flesh/blood, who keep bringing it up, and cannot forgive or forget1
Prayer for others is best way to handle things we do not understand, and some don’t want our prayers. God is Love!
Did his wife turn him down the first time?
“Oceans 1” with 2 sequels?
Well, i guess if you count the wife, it’s technically “Oceans 2” with 2 sequels ...
Some years ago I invested in a church bond issue in Wichita, KS. Turns out the pastor and his wife stole the funds of the church and took off. It tore apart the church needless to say and the bond issue defaulted and we investors lost bigtime. I invested some in church bonds thinking the integrity would be no problem but it surely was in this case. Some ‘pastor’.
I seem to recall a local DFW story about an arrested man who had been running church bond scams all across the country.
Yeah - because Jesus died on the cross as He had to in order to redeem us because of our proven inability to follow all the commandments all the time. Then He added the caveat that the redemption was conditional on our following that which He had proven to us we could not follow.
Not saying the Commandments aren't a great thing if we were capable, just that so many call others on them while never seeming to realize that they may not break the same ones as often, but we all break at least one of them on a daily basis - add Jesus' reproach that even if we do it in our mind, w/o taking action, we have violated the Law....
Some seem to be of the religious order of Heaven-stays-Empty (except for them because they are as perfect as Jesus).
