Vanity - "Republican Establishment" RINOs, "Never Trumpers", Dead-On-Arrival.

Posted on 11/08/2017 4:55:22 AM PST by JLAGRAYFOX

Republican Establishment, RINO, Ed Gillespie wanted no part of POTUS, Donald J.Trump in his campaign. Instead, he chose and preferred the deadbeat, "has-been" ex-POTUS, G.W.Bush to campaign with and for him.

Ed Gillespie got massively politically slaughtered last evening by a weak, incompetent Democrat. Thousands of Virginian Trump supporters stayed home and did not turn out to vote for Gillespie. In fact, Gillespie's two running mates Jill Vogel & John Adams received more votes then Gillespie who was heading the ticket.

I did not like Ed Gillespie, never did like him, but I gave him 100% support...across the board in his futile quest to win the Governor slot in Virginia. Beating the Democrats in Virgina would have been a political death knell for the entire Democrat Party!!!

Ed Gillespie is now politically dead...never to return to an active candidate role. But, much more important, the Republican Establishment RINOs, headed by Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Bob Corker, Jeff Flake, etc., are as dead politically as one can be!!!

POTUS, Trump, however, lives on, stronger then ever. Gillespie could have never won his race without Trump leading his supporter pack. Gillespie however heeded the advice of Republican, "has-beens" Like G.W. Bush and he got his political butt soundly defeated.

Goodbye all you traitor, turncoat deadbeat, Republican establishment, RINO, Never Trumpers "HAS-BEENS!!!

What was his vote % like compared to Trump’s 2016 ?
Might not have mattered if Trump campaigned for him ?

It isnt hard. Trump wrote the playbook. Just follow it.

But the GOP voter doesn’t seem to understand this thing called a primary.

Dont complain about this guy when you could not be bothered to show up for the primaries and pick someone better.

If your conservative delegate lost, whose fault is that? If you didn’t show up to vote, or didn’t “feel motivated”, then too damn bad.

No one cares if you were too lazy to go vote. The policies of the Democrats aren’t going to affect you any less.

The Republican party has got to accept that reality that there is no middle.

We have either Patriots seeking a return to the ideals of our fathers and to the rule of the Constitution (represented by President Trump) or anti-American liberals.

Choosing the mushy middle between those two is the same as walking down the middle of a two lane highway. SPLAT!

The time has arrived for all Republicans to choose what side they are really on. We are in a life and death struggle for the soul and the survival of our country. They can either Make America Great Again, or they can be counted among America’s enemies.

It is sad that we’ve come to this, but if the GOP establishment had grown some balls and stayed the Constitutional course after President Reagan we’d still be in good shape. Through inaction they allowed the decay of morals and patriotism in this country. And that is how we ended up with obama.

I agree with your premise, but in Virginia:

1) The outgoing governor was a Democrat
2) Virginia went for sHrillary
3) Northern Virginia, densely populated with DC government workers, outweighs the rest of the state in voting.

Therefore, Gillespie's loss isn't the referendum on Trump or Trumpism that some on the left want to make it out to be.

If Ed embraced TRUMP he probably loses by 4% - 5% instead of 8% LOL

The GOPe will remain in denial and continue to claim, as do the Dems, that Gillespie lost because the voters rejected Trump.

VA has turned blue because the populace has been infested by DC government bureaucrats. It will likely remain blue for quite a long time.

POTUS, Donald J. Trump received 700,000 votes more then Ed Gillespie received last night. Had Gillespie sought the direct Trump endorsement and support...he would have won the Governor’s seat!!! Listening and heeding the weak, failed advice of failed, ex-POTUS, GW Bush & Mitch McConnell got Gillespie politically scalped last evening!!!

Gillespie got his head handed to him. 9%? No way most of us here and elsewhere anticipated that margin of defeat. And down ticket? When voters prefer a he/she who “slicked” himself to a Republican? All is lost...

Valid points. The problem is, what will be left of the Commonwealth of Virginia by the next election?

The “Principled Conservative Purists” are preening themselves this morning, smug in their self-righteousness.

The RINOS and other members of the DC Uni-Party are popping champagne corks, celebrating the retention of control of Virginia.

Those of us who rejected the DC Uni-Party, but tried to settle for “half a loaf”, need to regroup and understand that the decisive battle will be in the next primary. To get there, we have to march through the GOPe, as part of the DC Uni-Party.

It is time for a second party. The GOP is just a subset of the DC Establishment. It has used us for the last time.

That being said, the “Principled Conservative Purists” are not our friends, either. They, like John McCain, value their role as a disruptor and block more than as a solution.

Thanks JLAGRAYFOX. The writer said it best:

Trump can’t pull these deadbeat RINOs across the finish line even if he wants to. Any swamp pubbie that isn’t onboard with Trump’s tax cut and repeal and replace needs to be primaryed by Bannon and the president starting today. No repeal, no tax cut, regular slate of swamp pubbies in 2018 will be a massacre in the general election for the GOPe.

I would suggest that both RINOs, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan get their act and caucuses together and, get the tax cut/reform bill passed quickly and on the POTUS’s Trump desk for immediate signing.

The hogwash blabber from the likes of failed deadbeats, McCain, Corker, Flake, etc. has got to stop. McConnell put these deadbeat losers down..or resign and let someone else with a real backbone get the job done!!!

You may right. Ed Amnesty was a fake Eddie Haskel type but I feel Trump could have pulled his sorry butt over the finish line. We’ll never know.
