You haven’t kept up. Ruger makes an AR-15, just like every other major American gun manufacturer. It is the most popular style of rifle in America. Maybe not in your area, but certainly in the free states.

Ruger AR-556. I've got one. Ruger calls it an "autoloading rifle". The ignorant, almost always the left and gerbalists (but I repeat myself), call it an "Assault Rifle 15".
If the picture of the one I saw here earlier was his, it was pimped-out with some Magpul accessories, forestock, grip, believe I saw a BAD on the trigger guard. I kept mine lean. It comes with a milled gas block and a push-button sling attachment & rear sight. Nice piece and price.

Ruger makes the SR-556 and the AR-556. Both are Armalite pattern guns with modern features; the former is a piston driven rifle. I have one, very nice rifle.
