For THISISMONEY.CO.UK
Weathermen and weatherladies sometimes use the Fujita scale to describe storm levels. The highest point on the Fujita scale is F5, which refers to wind speeds of between 261mph and 318mph.
Why do you need to know this? Because it explains the Venom F5 name chosen by American fast car specialists Hennessey for their latest madness machine.
How mad is it? Well, it has a claimed top speed of 300mph-plus. All this from a road-legal car with number plates and indicators.

Ya! I have seen pretty good drivers, actually, in Chicago and Michigan and Indiana. I also had a tornado blow me off I-95 near kalamazooooo and a giant ball of hail debt my rentaCad when its outside temp gauge read 95 F, that on the south side of chitown. But the drivers all seemed quite sober, unlike some other places 😇😇😇🤡

I do get a kick out of examining the gouges in the more aggressive speed bumps, and wonder what vehicle did that and how it fared.
Driving a 4Runner these days, not a concern.

Perfect for this -->> Sun Valley Road Rally returns on July 21-22, 2017. Participants travel from all over the world to enjoy this unique experience of driving at top speed on 4 miles of public road. Porsches, Ferraris, Bugattis, Bentleys every car will show off its best side as the masses cast their ballots and award Best in Show. On Saturday, qualified drivers get ready for an experience of a lifetime as they push their cars to the limit on a 4-mile stretch of scenic countryside down Gannett Road. The best part? Theres no speed limit! Spectators share the rush from the sidelines where they watch the cars flying by as they picnic and enjoy the view.

What’s the towing capacity? Will it pull a 18’ fiberglass bass boat?

Better would be to make it float and hope the window/roof comes off. Imagine leaning back in those seats and fishing.

Hennessey builds some beautiful cars. If I had the money I would get a couple of his cars. That one & previous models, even though my eyesight prohibits me from enjoying even half the power they deliver. 8>).

Love the looks of it. Can’t wait to see one going 5 mph next to me while I commute to work in Houston.

Whenever I hear of such cars, I automatically think of The Gumball Rally. That movie, the cars, the real sounds of real engines....it forever framed for me what cars were all about....power and volume.

But just think! You’d get to look at it for such a long time!

Won’t matter, they’ll still park their shopping carts side by side and block your way to the free sample table!

“Grand Prix” with James Garner was one of my favorite movies. And “A Man and a Woman” in the original French. I saw that 13 times in the theater. Great racing love story.
