The RNC mails me a donation request about once a month - but the return address says President Donald J. Trump. You have to read the fine print to find who it’s really from. They go straight into my wood stove.

Do not donate to the RNC.
Donate only to individual conservative candidates.
The RNC has been controlled by the Cheap Labor Express for decades to prevent us from electing anyone who would stop the illegal alien inundation.
It is unclear at this time whether President Trump has wrested control of the party apparatus from the Cheap Labor Express.

I understand any conservative's frustration, but I can assure you that tying political contributions to cases criminal prosecution is not only a losing proposition -- it's ridiculous. And in the case of the DOJ, you're playing right into the hands of the Republican establishment by withholding your contribution based on something that is not part of the Republican Party's responsibilities in Congress.
I got a mail solicitation from the RNC a few months ago and I listed a few clear, simple things that needed to be accomplished before I'd give the party another dime. Everything I listed was tied to acts of Congress that didn't require anything other than Republican votes, and in some cases (the repeal of ObamaCare, for example) the Republican Party had already been collecting donations for years based on their promise to get something done.

For the last year or or so when they call me I simply tell them "I am happy to donate directly to Trump's campaign, but I have no plans to donate to the GOP while they are one of his opposition parties".
That shuts them up quicker than any other approach I've tried.
To: Signalman
I said, "I'm not sending the Republican Party another dime until Sessions is replaced and the DOJ prosecutes the Clintons". KUDOS to you sir! I haven't given a dime to the RNC in many, many years. We donate individually only to Freedom Caucus-like conservatives.

I got one too.
Told the poor lady (it was obvious from her tone of voice she hadn’t had much success raising money) that as long as Republicans failed to support Trump’s policies I wasn’t going to give them a dime, and that I would donate directly to a candidate.
She said, yeah I know, with a voice of resignation, thanked me and hung up.

Maybe if they get enough responses like this, they'll get the message. What can I say, I'm an optimist. Optimist?
How about delusional?
Months before Trump announced he was running for president my tag line here was: "Are we American Citizens Pissed? You have no idea..."
What is it today??... "Seriously??" As in what Happened to the GOP? they morphed into the GOPe. Seriously??
What happened to the GOPe?? They joined the Obama/Hillary/Soros AltLeft opposition to our legally elected president.
Seriously??
Why can't our incompetent GOPe majority fail to do anything worth celebrating? Nothing... zip... Nada...
Seriously??

"I'm not sending the Republican Party another dime until Sessions is replaced and the DOJ prosecutes the Clintons". Doesn't strike me as useful criteria. Investigations and prosecutions take time, and with someone as connected as Clinton, a lot of care and under-the-radar work has to be done.
Now, withholding funds until the GOP decides to actually work with Trump rather than against him? That one makes sense. The GOP has no excuse whatsoever to drag their feet on his agenda.
To: Signalman
I never give to the Republican Party, even if it's President Trump or VP Pence soliciting. If it's from the RNC (check out the fine print, if it's phone, just say no) that's who decides how the money is distributed.
The best way to donate is to buy Trump gear from the website store.
