A Big Brothers Big Sisters chapter in West Virginia will suspend mentoring services for underprivileged children after donors pulled funding earlier this month in response to an LGBTQ-awareness training program.
Sara McDowell is executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central West Virginia. The Charleston Gazette-Mail quotes her as saying the organization wont recruit or match volunteer Big Sisters and Big Brothers in Raleigh County or fill two vacancies until it has adequate funding.

My early 20s Eagle Scout nephew has decided that he is now a girl, dressing in women’s clothing and wanting to be called by a female name. I wonder if it was a homosexual scout leader who turned him out.
I decline to call him “her” or “she” or to use the girly name. Some family members object; I don’t care.
That is beyond sad. Special place waiting for whoever recruited him.
Seriously, would anyone want a 31 year old heterosexual man like me around teenage girls? That should answer why some parents wouldnt feel comfortable.
They are taking the money to make the KIDS the Donors to the Homosexual Community. Got it.
