A Big Brothers Big Sisters chapter in West Virginia will suspend mentoring services for underprivileged children after donors pulled funding earlier this month in response to an LGBTQ-awareness training program.

I think you might have it backwards.
The funding was pulled after they started giving LGCBTQRST training. Apparently the donors didn’t want their money to go to teaching homosexual behaviors

Big Brothers has always raised doubts in me. I’ve been involved in several youth related endeavors over many years. Church youth group, Boy Scouts, Trail Life USA, municipal ski club etc.
The organizations and I took great care to assure that an adult leader was never once alone with a youth.
I’ll bet that in 30 years of this stuff, my amalgamated time one on one is under ten minutes. And I can’t think of a single time it exceeded 30 seconds.
Well, there was one occasion. A younger boy of about 11 had an accident during a hike. We worked out a plan to save his dignity. I “accidentally” spilled my water bottle on him and apologized in front of everyone.
I told him it would be our secret and immediately realized I used a very improper term. Secrets between adult leaders and boys are forbidden. I informed the other leaders and that evening, while still on the campout, I called his dad, let him know what happened and made sure he knew no harm was intended. He appreciated me helping out his son

I knew of one that got shut down because the people in charge were stealing money and taking a lot of the things people donated for the kids. What a sick bunch of people to take from such needy kids.
Same here. I’ve always seen Big Brothers Big Sisters as a canned hunt for pedophiles. Of course, there is extensive vetting, but there’s always a first time with these cretins.

the former Mayor of Baltimore got prosecuted and fired for doing just that.
Of course, in the liberal cesspool that is Baltimore, she was allowed to keep her $80K a year pension and allowed to run again.
Corruption runs deep here. She actually got to plea bargain her sentence AFTER the trial found her guilty.
These are the same people always crying about justice. If there was real justice, she’d be in jail.
She got convicted the day I started my new job in Baltimore. I moved there the day before from Detroit area where the Detroit Mayor was just starting his first term in jail for perjury. He’s doing 40 years in federal jail for corruption. Needless to say, I felt right at home.

LGBTQ WXYZ training is OK if you train kids to be aware that those kind exist and should be avoided when possible, resisted when not possible and reported when they attack.
