When conservative author and talk radio host Laura Ingraham sits down in the anchor chair on Oct. 30 for the first time as a host on Fox News evening lineup, the cable network will be making a multi-prong bet. The first is that its audience will gladly stomach another evening hour of ardent Donald Trump boosterism.
Already, there are signs of trouble. A number of Fox staffers are dreading the possibility of working for Ingraham, who, even among the healthy egos that populate Americas cable newsrooms, has built a reputation as overbearing. According to numerous sources, Ingraham has been,
As I recall, Laura was engaged during the time she discovered her breast cancer.
(2005/2006?)
In her recovery phase, the discussion of the engagement evaporated.
Because she gives so much to charity.
I’m smelling fake news or the idiots at Faux News don’t understand how ratings work.
Reads to me like someone’s trying to gin up a game of lets-you-and-her-fight...
Whomever's ANCHOR desk had a velour covering, and I can't remember if she took the cover off, but she said she sat down in the ANCHOR chair, and put her feet up.
Years later, I heard her complain about being on a flight, and across from her, a young woman lost the footwear, put the feet up on the tray table, and proceeded to clean the gunk out from her ringed toes, leaving the crud on the table top.
So she has perhaps "changed".
she has net work of something like 50 million from radio. perhaps the internet business is counted against that

I guess they are afraid of strong women?

editor John "I just love Avon Products" Avlon aren't beotchy enough for the Daily Beast.
Her last show at Fox lasted three weeks. I listen to her radio show often. She is very talented. It isn’t really shocking she might be tough to work with. I enjoy her show a lot. Still, would not mind another meltdown ;)
It only falls short because “occasionally” was included instead of “unfailingly”.
I remember when Laura was the guest speaker at the FreeRepublic Las Vegas conference in 2005.
She’s been solid on her convictions at east since then.
I hope she gives Fox some Hell!
Didn’t she walk off of Hannity & Colmes once, because she didn’t get enough speaking time? I knew she complained about that when she was on the show. There was recent audio of her screaming when her show went off the syndicator for a minute. I believe the article.
Laura is gonna be a big hit with Sean’s lead in. The libbies know this and want to get the shots in beforehand!
Laura > Megyn
translation NYC liberals and wimps and pajama boys are in a panic they will not be able to push her to the far left.
Overbearing in the “do your job well” sense, not the MeAgain drama queen sense or the O’Reilly “because I said so” sense.
10 eastern ?
The “staffers” are just upset that they won’t be able to file “sexual harassment” against her if she’s a hardass.
Yes. She went for a pre-marital exam and the doctor found her breast cancer. She was engaged to some guy named Jimmy, who left her and promptly started dating Katie Couric. I cannot remember his last name. She seemed like she had a cloud over her head and I wrote her an email, pointing out that, had she not gone for her pre-marital physical when she did, she would have had a much tougher fight on her hands. IIRC, her cancer was aggressive, but they caught it very early. She is well and has adopted 3 children since that time. She actually wrote me back an email thanking me for pointing out the ‘blessing’ of her engagement, even though she didn’t end up marrying the guy, who was a heel. I am looking forward to her new show. I hope she brings some needed Conservative perspective back to FoxNews. (as an aside, I always enjoyed her radio show while I was working. I even won a gold coin once :)
