I don't know what there is to "solve." From what I see, the Astros pitchers are avoiding the strike zone like the plague. The Yankees aren't chasing pitches anymore.
Finesse pitching isn't working for the Astros. They will have to put the ball in play and rely on their defense to get the outs.
Oh, and the Astros have to start hitting, too. It's time to start playing small ball.

Dodgers may be best, but the Yankees may be the hottest team in baseball right now.
Verlander will likely win one in Houston.

“All your base are belong to us” responds Houston.

Harvey Keitel’s character explained it in a movie long ago. When the games are in the largest TV markets the series will go 7 games. NY is the #1 TV market. It turned out his character was wrong but it makes sense.
I’m 66 years old and live in Houston so I really want Houston to win because my chances of attending a World Series game in my hometown are dwindling fast.

One game away can be as good as infinity with Verlander on the mound and heading back to Houston.

Houston, you have a problem.
Go Yanks!

I never quite understand how ratings for a World Series with New York teams or other big markets, get higher ratings. The World Series is the highlight of the baseball season, no matter which teams are in it. Ive always looked forward to the World Series, no matter whether a team I like is in it, regardless of whether its a big market team or not. I guess there are a lot of casual fans, who will watch a Yankees World Series, but not one with a team such as Tampa Bay Rays or Kansas City Royals?? Point is, all strong baseball fans will watch no matter which teams are in it.
My father still remembered & may he RIP & he used to talk about this game endlessly when the NY Giants got into the World Series when some third baseman named Thompson from the NY Giants hit a homerun in the bottom on the ninth to win the game for the NY Giants and get them into the World Series.
There were no televisions in 1951 so my father heard this game on the radio.
I loved watching the KC Royals win the World Series not too long ago.
I predicted the Houston Astros would get into the World Series this year and I am still predicting that same outcome.
