Any television show or any sporting event would take a rating of 30.0 in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and laugh all the way to the bank. It's a terrific number. It means that an average of 30 percent of all homes with televisions in the area were tuned in at any moment. That translates to approximately 794,550 homes. Relatively speaking, however, those are low numbers for a Green Bay Packers-Dallas Cowboys matchup. But that's what Sunday's down-to-the-wire Packers 35, Cowboys 31 at AT&T Stadium scored locally for Fox on KDFW (Channel 4).

The anthem was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. This has been coming for a long time.
We are tired of the thugs, the four-hour plus games, Billionaire owners fleecing the taxpayers and pricing out the common man, the drop in overall quality of play (way too many teams).
We’re just not that into them anymore.
Thanks, I’m sorry I didn’t read the article.
Your wife is a smart woman and yes I believe indifference is the opposite of love. Hate is an reactive emotion created from being hurt or fear, envy.
Those who “Hate” the NFL will still be interested in tuning in the scores and whether or not the ratings have dropped.
Those “indifferent” about the NFL wouldn’t even care to post their opinions online.(my mother and brother is in this category)
Until the kneeling started, my wife watched every Cowboys game that was broadcast in the DFW area. She’s a very loyal fan, but she’s even more loyal to our nation’s flag and our anthem.
Jerry Jones is a creep. Those in Texas support him only because they are in Texas.
I’m with you on the commercials and the taxpayer backed fleecing.(was against the Titans getting tax money but it was at least put up for a vote and Davidson County voters passed it, another reason I’m glad I don’t live in Nashville)
I’ll add poor referee calls and the instant replay on every d*mned play, whether it’s contested or not(three timeouts or instant recalls by the head coach of each team and that’s it!)
Everything plus the anthem kneeling is making it easier to do something else on Sundays.
And every incomplete pass where the receiver signals to the ref to throw the flag....if I see that one more time....I’m going to take a flamethrower to my TV.
I think “Jerrah” saw the light after his “kneeling” episode.
I hope this includes those who stood but with a “black power salute”(David Irving)
I don’t believe we will see many empty seats at AT& T stadium but the ratings will continue to dip.
And yes, I like my cheese dip and salsa as well when I get seated for my three hour Cowboy football feast(or famine)
“How ‘bout ‘em Cowboys!”
She’s not the only one. Lots of fans in the DFW area are clicking the game off.
How did you know that and when did you know it?
Hmmm, does this have anything to do with the Pony Express from the late 1800’s?
Dallas Cowboys...never heard of them /s
I get it three hours once ta week.
Yep.
And when it’s a night game, I let out an audible “Aaaaaaargh”!
Got old somehow and I need my sleep, Haha.
HaHaHa.
Is there a vaccine for it?
My brothers knows what it done to me and doesn’t want their children to get it!
To hear from some diehard Texans they say the team was created right after Adam and Eve and before the fall from Grace(that’s when the Eagles were created as punishment)
After some games I wish I hadn’t heard of them(Haha)
Yep. After a 13-3 season, to see the Cowboys come out playing like an 8-8 team (and that’s WITH Zeke), my Cowboys flag/banner is still resting against the laundry room wall.
Besides, Hockey season has begun, Go Stars, they’re a bit slow out of the gate, but I think they’ll be real good before too long with Hitch.
