As more and more women step forward to give public testimony about their alleged abuse at the hands of Hollywood power — Harvey Weinstein, Ben Affleck, Amazon Studios chief Roy Price — more and more women are coming out about their alleged abuse at the hands of Hollywood power.
Funny how that works. And on Friday morning, three-time Oscar winner Oliver Stone was added to the list.
New York Daily News:
Carrie Stevens, a former Playboy Playmate, claims that some 26 years ago, when she was just 22 years-old, Stone grabbed her breast at a party.
“He was really cocky, had this big grin on his face like he was going to get away with something,” Stevens, who was 22 at the time, told The News.
At that point, Stone “reached out and…honked it like a horn,” she said, describing him as “an immature guy in elementary school who snaps your bra.”
Stevens said she was surrounded by other people, but nobody said anything.
“That’s what’s going on in Hollywood. That’s why things have to change. He’s Oliver Stone. Nobody’s going to say anything,” she told The News.
Stone was already under fire after his initial refusal to condemn Harvey Weinstein...

If you read my post #50, I think you’ll agree that a certain amount of this long-delayed outrage is a result of lost opportunities. If a woman “put up with” a certain amount of sexual abuse 26 years ago thinking that the financial gains she was going to get would offset it and then those gains never materialized, I can see her coming out with allegations even decades later.
Some will remember the “Granny” cartoons in Playboy...wonder how long before she joins the chorus?
In your ideal world men are weakling jackasses. In the real world there are still a few decent men who do the right thing.
After Gwyneth Paltrow told Brad Pitt she’d been sexually harassed:
‘Pitt, who was dating Paltrow at the time, confronted Weinstein about the incident at a Hollywood party around 1995, a source tells PEOPLE.
“Brad threatened Harvey,” says the source. “He got right in his face, poked him in the chest and said, ‘You will not ever do this to Gwyneth ever again.’ “
The source adds that Pitt “made it clear there would be consequences” if Weinstein tried anything again, and “described it as giving Harvey a ‘Missouri whooping.’” (Pitt grew up in Springfield, Missouri.)’
I think a good person should leave a culture that is mostly populated with evil malicious filth.
This "profession" exists in other places.

Only thing missing from that series is the location of the party. Playboy Mansion perhaps?
I agree with all of that. I’m just saying I don’t give this woman any more credibility than I give Oliver Stone.

Some industries or businesses or branches of human activity attract certain types of people.
You can leave Wall Street to set up a brokerage or investment firm somewhere else, but eventually the corrupt types will follow you there.
You can set up a 100% heterosexual theater troupe in a 100% heterosexual city, but sooner or later, the gays will find you.
Same thing with motion pictures, modelling, etc. Sleazy guys will always find a way in.

Well there is film making being done all over the place. But financing and resources are focused in one place.
It turns out that “Ray Donovan” is really a documentary.
Never thought it was about being lured into a hotel room and then left alone with a bloated, disgusting, rutting, masturbating pig-man. A pig-man who was being protected by and enabled by other women...the women who did the luring! That story in The New Yorker actually gave me nightmares. I'm not kidding. No wonder these "starlets" are so completely eff'd up. They are surrounded by these people: Pig-men, Femi-Nazis who probably think they deserved it for being pretty and naive, and effeminate fags who giggle and look the other way.
There are plenty more pig-men yet to be revealed. That's why the Pussyhat girls popped the cork on their rage against Trump. That was a guy they could legitimately unleash on and be commended for it. The ones who are actually doing the abusing were untouchable. Classic case of misdirected anger.

A couple of top people will be chastised and no longer work in Hollywood, some lower tier people will be ran over until the public gets tired of the same old news. Then things will go back to “normal” for the pervs in Hollywood.
This is silly. I don’t trust these women and everyone should be careful about just believing e everything that they say. Also, I’ll say it, even if this happened as she said...get over it. A guy touched your boob 20 years ago (probably playfully). Not ideal but it’s not the end of the world. This whole things smells fishy to me
