To be a security guard in Nevada you need a license.
There’s a board for it and a public searchable database.

Jesus Campos wasn’t licensed as a security guard.
If he’s illegal, he would already be across the border.
If he’s a US citizen but not licensed, who would care outside the hotel and the licensing people?
If the hotel is worried about law suits, they have the means to get a back dated license.
So, who’s after him? If it’s that bad, the feds should have witness protected him already. But then they’d have to explain it and it’d mess with their storyline.
Thats interesting. I tried a search on his name and hes not listed. Hmmm.
Therefore not armed?
Nevada has a separate code for proprietary guards, those hired and working for the employer only on the employer’s property. Been a while since I read the code....do not take this as gospel but they may not need the same registration as a “contract” guard. Easy lookup in Nevada state code...I’ll poke around.
Was he an accomplice? Was he an employee of the hotel?
There are armed security and unarmed security, two different types. Does this database cover both types?
Jesus Campos was not a security guard, he was a customer enrichment representative...No license needed.
The linked site says it is for Private Investigator Licenses. It doesn’t state it is for security guard licenses as far as I can tell.
Is there a different site to look up security guards? They may not let the public do that.
