Mixed doctors and companions in Enya's "White is in the Winter Night"
‘I don’t wanna go’ ... that was from Tenant’s heart. I wanted to imagine he could go be with Rose, or place himself with his wife in the nether Library holding place.

If he went with Rose, she was going to be a bigamist. The nether Library holding place. That’s a lovely thought.
He left an altered ego with Rose, in the beach scene.
Fez’s are cool.
Fish fingers and custard.
You’re Scottish, fry something.
“The theme of Tennant being afraid to die was just incredibly powerful. When he stops ranting and goes to free the man with acceptance, finally, always gets to me. And the ood singing him to his death. Wow.”
That was a great performance all around.
The old man’s expressions really enhanced the scene and made it even more memorable.
A lesser actor would have ruined it.

Tennant, me, too. Karen Gillian. Because of our hobby, DVDs and CDs are the main things we buy. And dog toys. Always dog toys.
Our older dog is Rory, for the obvious Dr Whoy reason. Younger is Watson, for Holmes. Ilya was another dog we named for a TV character. Always caused trouble spelling it at the vet. One or two “l”s?
I hear the latest Dr Who episodes are a pile of Liberal Droppings

Haven’t made my way through the latest DVDs. Will tell you when I finish the set.
Changing Doctors is tough.
First you learn to tolerate the new one, then you accept the new one and soon you are invested in the new Doctor.
The same with the companions.
Sarah Jane is my favorite of all the companions. I was happy to see her reappear in the reboot.
Learned to love Billie Piper.
The Donna character had a good storyline with it.
Amelia and Rory made for some good shows.
Who can forget the last Legionare? Protecting Amy through the centuries.
I like that the companions are more than hangers on just hanging out with the guy with the bigger on the inside Police box.

NO ONE!! That was amazing. I don’t cry in Dr Who, but I came close when Amy did. Just the concept of a love that deep. Wow.
Sarah Jane broke my heart. Because of these music videos, I watch a lot with no sound. When he hugs her, she clenches her teeth dealing with being left again. Wanted to shake him.

No matter who or what tries to rain on your parade your faithful canine is always excited to see you.
They must be rewarded.
Rory doesn’t like food, but lives for dog toys.

That is the kind of love we all wish for.
We all hope our special someone will spend the ages waiting for us.
Rory did it, and was flummoxed as usual, when Amy didn’t immediately recognise him. When it hit her it was magic.

And the hug.
The great ones can make a scene with one line or expression and Elisabeth Sladen did it.
When I learned of her death in 2011 I was actually sad.

He seems to be as “different” as his namesake.
Is he as loyal and patient as well?
