That is the kind of love we all wish for.
We all hope our special someone will spend the ages waiting for us.
Rory did it, and was flummoxed as usual, when Amy didn’t immediately recognise him. When it hit her it was magic.
“Sarah Jane broke my heart. Because of these music videos, I watch a lot with no sound. When he hugs her, she clenches her teeth dealing with being left again. Wanted to shake him.”
“It’s you. It’s really you!”
And the hug.
The great ones can make a scene with one line or expression and Elisabeth Sladen did it.
When I learned of her death in 2011 I was actually sad.
