I quoted directly from your post #4.
If you don’t want to discuss its contents (like the author’s belief that AR15s burn off ‘grease’), fine. Don’t discuss.
Tell me: do you grease up your AR? Does it burn off grease when you shoot it a lot?
The author of your cut-n-paste seems to do so. Or he imagines that to be normal.
Let’s add to the list: Those who jump to conclusions such as yourself.
Nowhere is there the narrative you claim, yet, you claim I believe it. Dumb, just dumb.
The broken windows are on the same room.
This was such an abnormal event that for it to happen TWICE, _simultaneously_, at the SaMe LoCaTiOn, ain’t gonna happen.
Makes for a great story, and some statistics might be prone thereto, but this ain’t it.
“Call me stupid...”
Ok, Stupid.
Of the 550 casualties, all but about 150 were released within a day (probably NOT gunshot wounds), so say 150 still actually in the hospital and ~60 dead. That’s just over 200 gunshot casualties for however many rounds Paddock fired.
Note - I have not seen any official medical injuries tally so I am only guessing by reports how many may have actually been struck by bullets.
And I am familiar with weapons, serving in the military for 21 years (and in the infantry for five), and owning several privately-owned weapons and using them regularly at the range.
I wonder how many of those people were injured in the stampede, rather than actually wounded by bullets?
Not sure what you mean, but broken windows were not in the same “room”, but two rooms of the suite.
I would like to know who was shooting from over at the Bellagio?
” this turned out to be like a Coen Brothers misadventure where two snipers totally unrelated with the same plan in the same building “
It wasn’t a Nickelback concert. Conspiracy theory BUSTED
I was referencing a wild theory that there were actually, INDEPENDENTLY, two shooters at the same time with the same goal operating in very close proximity - but unaware of each other until the assault actually started.
You’re not going to have two mass murderers operating in the same hotel suite unaware of each other.
HA! you win.
Can you fire a bump-fire with the rifle sitting on a bipod?
Can you swim like a duck while flapping your nose?
See, I can make up stupid questions just like you.
That was not a good cover for your exposed ignorance.
No, not right next door and unaware of each other...
I actually thought the opposite. I assume he knew that he was going to kill himself and that was the only non-negotiable thing in this event for him for one main reason, he used his own name to register and did nothing to hide his identity. .
I also assume he knew he had only minutes before he was located and that officers would be at his door. I believe that officers would have been at the hotel on a regular basis, it is a very large place. I believe he knew that once he started shooting that it would not take long for his position to be determined.
I assume that if he was a careful planner he would have made calculations as to how long it would take for someone to determine his position and the time it would take to confront him. If it were me I would assume that police and security would likely be positioned at the lobby and I would time the response time someone to get to his door. I assume he knew this time frame.
With those assumptions, I believe that if was not intent on suicide he would have registered as John Smith, had used a car other than his own, firearms that he did not purchase and then fired only for about 5 minutes or a period of time that is less than the time to go from the lobby to his room, and then exit.
I think the likely thing was that the camera in the hall was to give him an idea when his time was up. He could not chance being injured or caught if he wanted to commit. When someone showed up in the hallway it was his signal that his time was up.
It’s a typical CodeToad “contribution”.
The LV police chief has stated that there is evidence that indicates Paddock intended to escape.
It would be nice to know what that evidence is.
whatever you say dude.
