And, Trump kept on going! Sinatra was washed up by that time, anyway! I don't care if he was the "Chairman of the Board". Most of the "Board" was dead or dying!
Although, I admit to liking Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme (didn't know Eydie was spelled that way)!

"Although, I admit to liking Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme (didn't know Eydie was spelled that way)! "That old Saturday Night Live skit with Phil Hartman as Sinatra was pretty hard on Steve and Eydie.

sinatra sold out all the way to the end. You couldn’t get close to his venue. Ye was entitled to charge whatever. Also trump was entitled to say that’s too much. That’s the way the country works. Neither of these guys was exactly;y shy snowflakes. Not surprised.

I attended a live Sinatra performance exactly once in my life to see what the excitement was all about. It was early to mid 70s. Same old tired stuff; it was Northshore Lake Tahoe and Charlie Pride opened for him.
I remember, and enjoyed, almost everything Charlie sang; the "chairman," not so much.
