Original title of video: Louisiana making evacuations ahead of NATE - Already dropping 20+ inches of rain!
Video is 4:07 minutes in length.
Nate is over land now - Nicaragua and another location I already forgot. That’s where the flash flooding occurred.
Where they going? Houston would seem out of the question this go round.
22 dead - weatherchannel.com
Western Cuba maybe.
Honduras
Arkansas?
Great site for watching Nate. It’s half-over land in Nicaragua/Honduras, so it’s not easy to see, but once he heads back out to sea - look out!

How the HECK are, ‘my’ Hummingbirds going to get to their Winter Quarters in Costa Rica this year? They left two weeks ago. :(
So far models indicate New Orleans.
Maybe took a long layover in Hawaii? On the beach, sipping nectar out of leis?
Sheesh that’s an ominous link! As I watched, a smaller system moved closer and closer to join Nate! Not sure what it is but south west that little system is movin’ toward NATE!
Getting back out over the water will amplify the beast.
Cool link, thanks. If you zoom out you can see the current around Antarctica.
I'll be damn, I was just thinking that same thing today. Yours have been down here at my feeders fattening up for the flight across the gulf.
But...I was wondering where they'll go with Nate coming jn.
It’s a good thing that you and I worry about the IMPORTANT THINGS in life! *HEART*
I love my Hummingbirds and I feed them copious amounts of sugar-water all summer and plant all of their favorite nectar-producing flowers in my garden each year.
How is the Monarch population by you? I don’t think I saw more than SIX all summer - and we have TONS of wild Milkweed and Butterfly weed growing for them all over the farm.
Two Yellow Swallowtails. Exactly, two! :(
Much better. Zoomed in. ;)
