Just in case its been weighing on your mind, you can relax now. A team of theoretical physicists from Oxford University in the UK has shown that life and reality cannot be merely simulations generated by a massive extraterrestrial computer.
The finding an unexpectedly definite one arose from the discovery of a novel link between gravitational anomalies and computational complexity.

We know The Lord didn’t build a computer to simulate creation because when Isaiah saw Him in the temple He wasn’t described as a “Nerdy, Nerdy, Nerdy” but as “Holy, Holy, Holy”. /runsaway

Got Romans Chapter 1?
I imagine maybe folks would be better off if the "cultured" focused on reality and Natural Law for a while instead of becoming further psychotically detached from it in the Utopian Technocratic Matrix/Maze...

>>Mainstream atheism presents the opposite, that we are body only - no mind, self, soul, etc.
New Age/Gnostic theism (whether a, or not) recycles a world-view in which the thinker is their own god.

Meh, stupid Natural Law - thats so last millennium!

I think any programmer working today could have told them that. Complexity has a way of doing that, it is a simple multiplication problem.

Yep.
Again, since you bring it you, Scripture doesn’t have Him describing Himself to Moses as “who abodes forever in his parent’s basement and can’t get a date”.

That is like the guys who wrote a book explaining why the moon was impossible as chance so it must have been created. Since they do not believe in God it must be our future descendants who made it and sent it back through time to protect the earth. But there would be no descendants if the moon had not been there in the first place. Which creates an infinite loop and at that point their brains melted.
You can call it an interesting thought experiment if you like.
I am less kind.

Did you even bother to read the article?
"Ringel and Kovrizhi showed that attempts to use quantum Monte Carlo to model systems exhibiting anomalies, such as the quantum Hall effect, will always become unworkable....The researchers calculated that just storing information about a couple of hundred electrons would require a computer memory that would physically require more atoms than exist in the universe."

[...] then consider the odds of actually being alive during this portion of civilization (based on the number of people that have been alive, are alive and will be alive in the future, it is very unlikely that we are actually living right now.The odds of winning a sweepstakes might be a million to one - but someone has to win.
What are you going to tell that winner: That it's impossible that he won, because the odds are against it?

The beauty of that kind of subversive strategy is that it places an emphasis on culture & learning, rather than attributes & traits derived from encoded DNA. In that regard, at least leftists practice what they preach by focusing on media & education in an attempt to change society & politics.
Unfortunately - at least for them - ignoring millions of years of evolution has proven to be the wrong course. If one simply understands that remote, physically separate populations - whether plants, insects or animals - develop totally different environmentally engineered physical characteristics & behavior, then they might not have wasted everyone's time. (Not to mention a hundred million dead.)
That's why the prog-libs are so hysterical - a hundred years of effort, all for naught. That long march through the institutions? Acquiring all mass media assets? Attempts at de-normalizing traditional family formation and promoting dysfunctional behavior? All failures; the deplorables seemingly, mindlessly, just keep repeating ingrained patterns which have been evident since pre-history.
